The biggest difference is how churches function as organizations. It’s a lot easier to start your own denomination with blackjack and hookers in the US.

You don’t even have to be from that far away. When I listen to Mark Carney speak, for example, I don’t think he recognizes how deeply unpopular our government is. He, like Trump, treats the election as though it were a landslide, not a squeaker.

I took a 20 minute turn off [[Paradox Engine]], [[Sensei's Divining Top]], and triggers off my Commander, [[Baral, Chief of Compliance]] (countering my own spells) to loot through my deck for my combo.
I did find it. And the table was disappointed, because they really thought I was gonna pass turn. They didn't expect 20 minutes of me pulling a win (stroking them out with [[Blue Sun's Zenith]]) out of my ass.
Another story from another time. Different deck, same commander. I opened on [[Leyline of Anticipation]]. A point in the game comes where there are three of us left, and opponent A goads opponent B to swing at me for lethal, but I have half my deck in hand, so I [[Cyclonic Rift]] the board away. Player A has a [[Deretti, Scrap Savant]] emblem, so he sacrifices all his artifacts. Nobody notices the [[Commit//Memory]] in my yard, and at end of combat (though they are concerned about my [[Consecrated Sphinx]]), I use the Memory half with Leyline, meaning that Player A doesn't get anything back. Because I'm goaded, I swing out at B, not doing much damage. I then proceed to hold the other two down as I beat them with bad blue creatures, as one of them exiled my [[Blightsteel Collossus]] after I'd pointed it at another player. That game lasted like, 3 hours.

Always 4 color. Good luck with the manabase, tho.

Schumer and Jeffries are back benchers who survived. Of course they're shit leaders. That was never supposed to be their job.

In general, leave Texas for the Texans. There’s nothing for you here. Come here on business or because you’re doing a large road trip. We will be nice, don’t get us wrong, but you do not want to be here.
If you want to know what it’s like, watch King of the Hill and Friday Night Lights. That’s all you need to know.

Hey now. Kirk only had three lovers we know of: Carol Marcus, Edith Keeler, and the Native American Woman in “The Paradise Syndrome”.
Two of those happened in alternate timelines with no possibility of rescue. The third fell apart in the prime timeline because he couldn’t not be Captain Kirk.

I mean, there are problems with this plan. Círdan isn’t ready to build a ship to cross the sea yet. And the Jewels themselves are cursed: while Thingol’s possession of the Silmaril began with noble intentions and great deeds, it could only end in unnumbered tears, even for Thingol and his line who had no part in the Oath. The Silmaril does not go West until it’s delivered to the Valar by Ulmo via Eärendil.

They used to be unheard of outside draft simulations and brewing with new sets to prepare for day 0 draft and/or Standard events and the occasional draft deck in EDH.
But the decline of tournament culture has unmoored the casual crowd from real cards.
thephotoman
Yeah, that's the official line on Standard. Standard has two markets, and moving the meta is important to both of them:
- Competitive players play Standard because it's the premier tournament format. They want the game they're playing to change more regularly, playing non-rotating formats more as a treat.
- New constructed players play Standard because the cards are still in print. These are the easiest cards for people to get because they're in print.
However, there's more to the game than Standard. Once you leave Standard for non-rotating formats, especially Pauper (if you want a meta, but you have $50 to $100) and EDH (if you don't want to care about the rest of the world), you can escape the capitalism of it all fairly easily.

Ebikes are defined very specifically by their speed limitations. If it goes faster than 28mph under a combination of your power and the bike's power, it's either a moped (likely limited to 30mph), a dirt bike, or a motorcycle.
The website for the Segway Xyber even explicitly says:
Classification: Off-road use only; Up to 43 mph max with speed limiter available in App.
Notice how it says "Off-road use only"? That means that it is not street legal. It is not sidewalk legal. It is not legal on bike trails.

It looks like AIX and z/OS will be the last operating systems to license the Unix trademark. HP-UX had its EOL this year, so HP is likely to let their trademark expire. And Xinuos is likely to fall out, too, as their licenses are also expiring/expired. Apple didn’t renew their trademark.
