i never get tired of seeing the MC300. it sounds great and that guitar has great sentimental value to her. why change?

She should definitely collaborate with a good record producer. Especially if she wants to take it to world stage and do world tour.

this does not take away from Nene’s capability on her producing skills either though. i think people give too much credit to AGT producers. Zombie and Hysteria covers are all Nene’s arrangement, i don’t think there were any feedback given. according to interview it was BHS and 7NA that Nene arranged herself but got feedback from producers. and honestly, i actually think 7NA was her weakest in terms of arrangement. it’s all packaged effects, camera angles, to woo the crowd. and the songs are so shortened. the solos sounded good but were not complex. i honestly think if AGT would let Nene have full creativity, we would have gotten an even better version. just look at all her previous work. as an example, she took a tight classic metal like Master of Puppets and still able to add her own licks and additions to legit make it sound better than the original. think about that, i don’t think there are many producers that can make a classic beloved by many to sound better.

All in all, it’s fine if she wants to produce her self or be a co-producer. as long as she have full creativity control. songwriting is whole another topic but i think melodies, riffs, solos, Nene is already brilliant. lyrics-wise, we don’t know yet. but if she can work with a writer, that’s fine too. as long as she has full creative input and it’s her storytelling.

yes! that’s great. i really like that performance as well. but she was younger then. the clip i posted, she’s a bit older, her vocals sound more mature. but incredible vocal/guitar in both versions.

i love it when she covers AC/DC. her vocals fit this style perfectly. and Nene once mentioned Angus Young was one of her favorite.

she said in interview they would be in English. her goal is to do world tour, so that makes sense. i do wish she writes whatever her heart intends Thai or English. it has to come from the heart to be good.

and if she chooses to work with a a songwriter, that is totally normal too. as long as she is involved in the writing process, it can still be her art.
