Ngl, I kinda rate this approach just because it allows a bit of flexibility. I’d much rather a discount rather than yet another meh scarf or cap (etc), with a minimally different design year to year

You’d hope clubs would allow free shipping with member codes, however?

100!! She’s a gem

Never go with the styrofoam 🫠

Ah, the budget be tight 🫠

Is there a commentator beaming in from the moon? Or just a comms fail?

Goddamn this oval looks atrocious. I get its sentimental, but c’mon

Good. Now fix the violence problem 🫠

Def a good point, I think I’m trying to consider the state of the dev comps they’re drawing talent from in NSW too, I feel like they’ve got a bit of a harder gap to bridge than most 🙃

(Biased Sydney-sider here, no shade intended, just a few frustrating years watching how slow AFL NSW/ACT have been in bolstering their own comps)

Oh man, the only thing living louder in my head right now than Lucy Wales absolutely nailing that last minute goal is how insanely cool a record that 1000+ day winning streak is

Marnie’s nailed the commentary as always though, even beyond the wonky fixture, it very often doesn’t feel like the AFLW is anywhere near being an even competition. Collingwood continue to struggle, and honestly I don’t know how del Santo still has a job

Where to from here? If the Giants and Tigers and Suns can all pull of radical shifts, why haven’t three of the oldest footy clubs in the country?

Between this game and the Norf girls getting their first loss in 3-ish years, tonight has been an absolute day for footy

Absolutely floored

How good for North to hold a streak for as long as they have, and for the game to have just evolved so much in 11 seasons

HOW FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD

MAAAAAAAAATE

LUCY WAAAAAAAAAAALES

Holy fucking shit let’s go

Jesus, what a waste of time, they’re hideous

What the fuck

Fuuuuuck that’s tough 😞

Tough day for Freo, but they’re still fighting until the end. Hat off to McCarth, Newton and Mim Strom especially

PUPPY 💜

It’s really hard to decode, hey. They’ve got so many experienced and fantastic players, getting some consistency from them feels very difficult (to be fair, it is early in the season though!)

Looking a bit rough for Freo
