Also, same house, but how do yal add lighting to yals cabins? I thought about LED strips. It gets dark during the winter lol. (i.redd.it)

What plugin are you referring to? (Just getting into this world and soaking it all up)

One of the dirty cups may be his?? And he still feels compelled to post this knowing he left a dirty dish out? How about no one use the dishwasher and everyone just wash their own dishes like an adult?

tmthyjames

Nice!

Paid/sponsored posts, contract jobs, networking for when they need a new job, followers to monetize future newsletters, online courses, books etc. so yes views, but for these purposes.

I once posted everyday about my own specialized knowledge but (hopefully) never the cringey stuff. Most the fluff (imho) is from the junior, inexperienced folks who want to build an audience fast.

Put a rapsodo and a net in your garage

I had the exact situation. Kid at 21, no stable job, and wanted to not be poor. At 30 I was back on track. But you gotta sacrifice.

Give up all social time with friends, build skills that will pay off, go back to school if you can.

I learned software engineering then data science which took a lot of time to learn but doable.

Oh he saw it. Up close and personal!

Fuck Edwin!

You don’t need a sim. I mostly practice with a net in my garage. You know if you hit a bad/good shot.

Read a lot. Have stuff ready to talk about. Don’t talk about yourself.

we try to limit screentime as much as possible.

I'd like to push back on this seemingly harmless phrase. For my kids (14, 4), there's no trying to limit screen - we just do it. They don't get it unless we're all watching a movie in the evening together. They're outside or playing inside. If they don't expect to get screen then they won't throw a fit when they don't get it. If you give in just a little bit they'll want it every time and fuss until you give in.

I don't believe that "sometimes you just have to give it to them so we can get some stuff done". I think it's a cop out mostly (not you, but most parents I know). Make your kids be bored; I promise they'll find something to do. One of the big problems I see today with parenting is they don't let their kids be bored.

The reason it's dark in there is the beams block the light so I thought about adding LED strips on both sides of the large beam so the light could travel parallel to the smaller ones instead of being blocked how it currently is.

Is there a way to determine if my house has alignment pins?

tmthyjames

Definitely shady

You’re 27, there’s plenty of time left.

Accept it, don’t try to hide it, and get in shape.

“Figure it out” is some of the best parenting you can do
