It’s absolutely a deliberate strategy. It’s done to prevent a team from building any tempo or rhythm to game. Panama did this in the COPA. They wanted the US to be uncomfortable on the ball. The idea is “the ref won’t card everyone” so they’ll get away with it.

Trying to not get hurt before heading back to their club teams.

YES! May through mid-October you can be outside every single day. Anywhere down south that doesn't get snow you can't be outside because it's too hot.

It's amazing to watch Messi. As he receives the ball and dribbles to the box both Kane and Anderson shift over to provide backup and try and cut him off. Messi in two touches creates space for himself and eliminates all 3 defenders for a chance on goal. In small subtle movements, he opens up space and creates so many opportunities. This isn't luck at all. This is Messi being unselfish and going out wide to pull 3 defenders out and just put the ball in positions for his teammates to score.

It wasn't because of her. That happened in '99 the rule happened in 2004.

It wasn't because of her celebration. It was after the 2004 world cup. Players were starting to do a bunch of political/personal messages on undershirts and the jerseys then were multi-layered and took forever for them to put them back on.

I have a full time salaried engineering job that pays once a month. Kinda sucks.

Turner is what he is at this point. Mediocre at best. He’s not going to “steal a goal” (make a save that should go in). He’ll make most of the saves he should. That’s it. At this level in single elimination games you need a goalie that can steal a goal. It’s why Pickford has been England’s #1 for so long.

I’ve been in this field for almost 20 years. Operators should always know before you download so they can just keep an eye on it. Ideally any change should be made locally if possible. Remote only if it’s the only option. I don’t care how good someone thinks they are mistakes happen. People need to pay extra attention whenever changes are made.

I want the statue to be of him sitting on a wall smiling like those goal celebrations last year.

I think you’re in a highly competitive spot. Babcock has a bunch of other restaurants and pizza shops on it. So you don’t have the advantage of being the little place right on the edge of a big neighborhood where you can order and little effort to go pick it up. There’s also a ton of competition all of the chains plus Monte Cello’s, Frank’s, Center Ave, Adrian’s, Milano’s. That’s rough competition. Try to be the go to for some businesses in the area and if you can be the go to for North Hills High School. Also figure out the apps Slice, DoorDash, UberEats, etc. figure out what moves you higher in the recommendations whether it’s delivery time, price, etc.

So the National team might get…. Worse somehow?

Are they taking it easy and saving up for the world cup this summer? It feels like they're just coasting through this season like they're looking towards something else.

Dark age is coming for the vast majority of college athletics. There’s 138 D1 FBS football programs. Maybe 20 will matter in a few years. The other 118 will not be able to compete for players, tv coverage, sponsors, etc.

Actually all water treatment plants everywhere overflow at some point. There’s only so much they can handle. The water has to go somewhere. Alcosan is in the process of doubling the capacity of their plant. There will still be an overflow point. The geography doesn’t help either.

Same. I find myself downplaying how not religious I am. Phrases like “I might go back to church some day” or “I still believe but don’t believe in showing up to a building every day”. It’s mostly to not hurt their feelings or give them unnecessary worry.

Same here. Do you still have family that wants you back in the church?

What ICE is doing is despicable. I fully condemn everything ICE and this administration is doing. It’s illegal. It’s inhumane. It’s fundamentally wrong.

My fear and why I question the authenticity of these is if these are doctored, altered, or flat out fabricated it provides the supporters of this administration low hanging fruit for their “fake news” outrage. It gives them an easy narrative out. My questioning of these documents is not support of this administration.

I have to agree. I’m not up to date with what a 9 year olds vocabulary should be but a sentence of “Seen how people like me, immigrants, are being treated changes my perspective of the US” seems kind of advanced. Especially for a second language.

Works on both my phone and laptop. But it’s a seat view from a Seahawks game. Just Google “Seahawks seat view” and there’s a couple of sites that have them.

Cat 3 isn’t great either. Cat 4 is the tiny little speck of green.

Keep in mind, Cat 3 is back half of the upper deck in the corners....in a NFL stadium. For $265 this could be your view: https://aviewfrommyseat.com/medium/anonymous-20220925170929.jpg

I still enjoy some of her videos. She doesn’t seem to upload as regularly anymore though.

I used to listen to him pretty regularly as well. I remember him championing the “Never Trump” movement. Yea he’s changed his tune a little hasn’t he.

Nothing yet either.
