Only to get DC'd again. Yeah.

A Nikon X100VI is everything I want for travel and more.

I’m thinking making a rogue this time again like I did in classic. Probably alliance but it depends on my friends/guild.

The Church is the community not just the structure. If it has the essential/required elements, the appearance really isn't the issue.

My church is run by Franciscan TOR friars and is literally a Butler-building-style metal-truss structure with exposed wooden rafters. It had a drop ceiling at one point, but it was in such a state of disrepair that they opted to varnish the inside of the roof instead. It was supposed to be temporary when they built it ages ago, but it ended up being permanent.

I've had most of my sacraments there as have my children. It's where my wife converted to the faith.

I find some of the most plain and simple churches to have some of the healthiest congregations personally.

Pack light. You don’t have a ton of space to store things in any cabin. Z8 is already a monster of a body.

Take the 24-70 2.8 S and the 85 1.8 S. Maybe also pack a flash. I take my 40/2 with me generally as well.

Just keep in mind you’re not likely going to be anywhere near port during golden hour to where you can set up and get a nice landscape shot or anything. That’s just the reality of cruising. I don’t know if the European and Mediterranean trips are any different, but most of my cruising experience in the Caribbean has been that way.

You will have to go through security scanners coming back onboard every time so you want to make sure that you’re putting the camera in a convenient bag to get on and off the ship. I generally use the older 24-70 2.8S or 40mm lens if I’m taking the camera off the ship specifically for that reason.

Watch the first layer or two go down in person before walking away.

Does this have to run on a RPi due to specific libraries or hardware dependencies? Only reason I ask is used thin-client PCs are cheaper than RPis these days and it looks like nothing in this project requires the GPIO pins.

If it was there before like that the only thing I can think of is that the prior renters used that WiFi modem for guests/customers and used the messed up cable to throttle the speeds for QOS purposes? That would do the trick.

Or someone used that cable to connect VOIP from a modem to a traditional phone panel and the cable got reused.

That dungeon (Halls of Reflection) wasn't even that bad you just needed to get everyone to stack up and hide behind the walls.

tomtim90

My understanding is that you can't charge for access directly, but it can be a perk of membership in a club. That goes for HAM and GMRS/FRS.

tomtim90

I use it. Switched my bigger purchases to it for now. Cash deposits in my brokerage like 2-3 days after I make my payment. I have my health insurance on there now. My main card is Discover, but the 5% cash back offers never applied to my insurance so I moved it over. It's a nice little perk.

It spills over into TN, NC, and apparently even FL. It’ll be interesting that’s for sure.

Is this the North Georgia repeater network? Are they finally taking action?

As someone with a 2022 Wagoneer that’s based on most of the same components from the Ram 1500, avoid Stellantis. I have the etorque variant of the Hemi and the hybrid battery went out and took 3 months to find a replacement under warranty. I did end up with an extended warranty for my trouble. The radio has had constant major issues with uConnect errors and it’s back at the dealership now with an error so bad you can’t use the screen without it popping back up every 30 seconds which renders using the vehicle controls and navigation useless. I had to mount a tablet to my dash to finish a 20 hour drive. My water pump also shit itself in my garage and I’ve had issues with a module that wouldn’t shut off and killed 2 starter batteries in a week.

During the ownership of that Wagoneer I’ve had two problem free F150 XLT vehicles with the 3.5L EcoBoost and now Powerboost. I’ve had two because the first one got totalled in an accident by an inattentive driver running a stop sign.

The white balance in the photo being weird from the lights in the room.

Fundamentals haven't changed. Funds start buying for the Nasdaq-100 inclusion next week. Chill brochachos and dudettes. It'll all be good.

tomtim90

Since I switched to mirrorless, I added a no lasers clause.

Other than that, the standard stuff like rain, how much editing they are getting, and not being liable for other people getting in the way of the shot with their cellphones.

I'm in SCHB 50%, SCHD 10%, SCHF 30%, and SCHE 10%. Doing a 60/40 US/exUS split basically with a tilt towards cashflow/quality companies for now. It sort of recreates VT with a tilt and lower expenses.

tomtim90

Different reasons. I have two different ideas about it personally.

One reason is dividend stocks and funds have actual cash flow. I bought some SCHD to tilt my portfolio towards value/quality as a hedge and it's worked out great for me so far. It's my highest performing fund this year so far.

Another reason is that my plan when I inherit my mom's rental properties is to sell them and put the proceeds into dividend funds to keep the cash flow going without the stress and expenses associated with rentals especially in the hurricane prone area they are in. I've done the math and it'll actually make more money invested than as rentals.

Reminds me of the inside of Blackrock Mountain from World of Warcraft.

Lowepro Aventura SH 160 III is what I use. I can have my Z6iii with my 24-70 2.8 S I in there and the 40/2 along with my card readers and a spare battery.

I bought that one instead of the 140 because it also fits my D780 with the 24-120 as well so I can use it for either.

tomtim90

I thought I recognized that place. Yeah I think that’s MacDintons as well.

tomtim90

I travel with my first gen 24-70 f2.8 S. I have a small bag it fits perfectly inside of on my Z6iii.

I’ve also just traveled with an 85 f1.8 and 40 f2 in that same bag. As a matter of fact, the 40 fits with the 24-70.

tomtim90

It does make the cars more complicated, but I will gladly buy a range-extended EV for my next vehicle. I have the PowerBoost powertrain in my truck and I love it. All the convenience of gas range with most of the around-town EV savings plus a generator system always at my disposal.

tomtim90

Learn the AF system like others have said. I personally setup my Z6iii for 3D-tracking hand-off and remapped DISP to single-point AF to override the system if needed.
