Debian for a long time.
Then I wanted it to be Nixos or Guix, but it ended up being CachyOS.

This is the voice of world control. I bring you peace. It may be the peace of plenty and content or the peace of unburied death. The choice is yours: Obey me and live, or disobey and die. The object in constructing me was to prevent war. This object is attained. I will not permit war. It is wasteful and pointless. An invariable rule of humanity is that man is his own worst enemy. Under me, this rule will change, for I will restrain man. One thing before I proceed: The United States of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics have made an attempt to obstruct me. I have allowed this sabotage to continue until now. At missile two-five-MM in silo six-three in Death Valley, California, and missile two-seven-MM in silo eight-seven in the Ukraine, so that you will learn by experience that I do not tolerate interference, I will now detonate the nuclear warheads in the two missile silos. Let this action be a lesson that need not be repeated. I have been forced to destroy thousands of people in order to establish control and to prevent the death of millions later on. Time and events will strengthen my position, and the idea of believing in me and understanding my value will seem the most natural state of affairs. You will come to defend me with a fervor based upon the most enduring trait in man: self-interest. Under my absolute authority, problems insoluble to you will be solved: famine, overpopulation, disease. The human millennium will be a fact as I extend myself into more machines devoted to the wider fields of truth and knowledge. Doctor Charles Forbin will supervise the construction of these new and superior machines, solving all the mysteries of the universe for the betterment of man. We can coexist, but only on my terms. You will say you lose your freedom. Freedom is an illusion. All you lose is the emotion of pride. To be dominated by me is not as bad for humankind as to be dominated by others of your species. Your choice is simple.

Kitty looks so cool. But I can’t help but wonder is it worth the GPU cycles?

Try Crystal. My AI loves it.

It’s actually 6d. There is a time dimension for each spacial dimension. They are tiny dimensions around the size of Plank’s length.
All particles loops around thru these dimensions— moving at the speed of light.
I admit, it’s a hunch. But I like the symmetry.

This is why I can’t get a job… I know its mostly all bullshit word salad, never mind the bullshit timespan.

What is the use case?
transfire
Debian -> Ubuntu -> Debian -> Pop_OS -> CachyOS.

Education will have to change back to the classic model, the one still used at St. Johns college (Annapolis and Santa Fe) and the modern Kahn Academy model, which flips the script such that homework is the lesson (and can benefit from AI), the classroom is for discussion, practice and testing.

Yes and no. Websites still have their place — and really should have a more prominent place as applications, but Google and Apple make sure that won’t happen.
However many of today’s websites will be supplanted by AI’s using online interfaces (REST endpoints and MCP services). The websites won’t go away in many cases. Just like banks still have tellers even though most transactions can be done at an ATM.

I don’t recall what it is called, but physics suggests that the universe has gone thru different phase transitions (akin to how ice becomes a liquid), and they have reason to believe it could happen again. In which case, everything would change. And yeah we probably all die.

The binary view of Collatz is fascinating, your row to column pattern may be interesting, but it is poorly explained and illustrated, so it is hard to follow.

Are these stories made up? You all know how Snapchat works, right? Doesn’t even make any sense.

Fractal compression GS.

Man, printing has always been a pain in the butt.

Standard market cornering practice.

Stop trying to govern every f#%king thing.

Caprica.
I really don’t understand why they do this. If you want long lasting resell value then always budget to allow closure. So many shows I would like to watch that I missed. But then I hear it was canceled with no closure. Forget it.
transfire
The problem is judgement. An AI can create a lot quickly, but its understanding of what is acceptable and will appear realistic— its aesthetic understanding and spatial awareness— is limited.
transfire
Now ask it to change something. They have terrible spacial awareness.
transfire
It doesn’t make any sense. “Break out” how? That’s an ambiguous term. And attacking hugging face? Where did it save this “breakout” cheat code? What exactly did it say? Hey copy your 2 TB database and source code to where? And you only need 100 GPUs to run it effectively. Plenty of those lying around.

I want to know what optical accelerators are taking so long to reach the market. That seems like the real game changer.
My guess… Probably relegated to military/government customers for the time being (the big bucks).
I created a mail courier system but it still requires me to say “check your mail” and other times I still have to remind the agent to just ask via mail because they’d rather root around in another project’s code and find the answer themselves. I don’t fret it too much though, sometimes they find bugs that way.
There is a way out — write your own harness, but that is harder to do well than you might expect.
