I haven’t had much upsell from that location, and no fake “well, this valve is clogged and you need a $200 air filter, too.” Nope.

truthcopy

Yup. We’ve gone there for years and they’ve been good. A few missteps here and there, but that happens even at the best shops and Dobbs always stands by what they do, at least in my experience.

truthcopy

I’ve always heard bad things, but have never had a truly bad experiece. Tires, routine maintenance, etc. No hard upsell. I’m sure it’s location dependent.

truthcopy

The education system was never focused on decisionmaking, at least in my experience.

The fact that he doesn’t understand words and technology should not be our problem.

“Super intelligence” is already an established concept in the AI field. So to call the platforms we have now “super” is both technically and semantically incorrect.

Not if your car is under warranty, at least if you are in the US. Not sure about other countries.

I don't use raise to speak. But Siri timers on my S10 are nearly instant, faster even than 26.0 I believe. I have also tested with Siri AI/personal context questions ("What's my confirmation number for my flight this weekend?") and the response was very fast.

She will be re-elected, no doubt, which is terrible.

truthcopy

I also received these bonuses when I bought my 3rd gen 4k right after the announcement.

If a new car is making any kind of sound that seems unusual, especially with something like the brakes, it is absolutely worth a trip to the dealer. Sure, do a quick wash and see if that helps... but if not, use that warranty!

This is not just on this sub, it seems like it's happening everywhere on every forum. People aren't taking time to read, they're just posting blind questions that are often a duplicated in the other most recent post. Have people forgotten how to think for themselves? Or how to search? Or how to just make a decsion? These are not, generally, life-or-death concerns. "Should I update or should I wait?" "Should I buy this model or that model?"

There is so much information available to everyone all the time everyone's paralyzed.

truthcopy

Yes, all responses seem very fast now, even more demanding some more complex personal context. "What's my flight confirmation number for my trip this weekend?" returned an incredibly fast, correct response. It took them a while to get there, but I'm impressed.

truthcopy

Yeah, I’m curious if they need to be on the same WiFi network to transfer. Do test it out and share!

truthcopy

Maybe they’re looking at photos of their last beach trip, so next time they’ll look at photos of themselves looking at photos of themselves on the beach?

truthcopy

Do the phones have to be near each other to handoff?

truthcopy

27.2 RC2 seems on par with 26-level responsiveness. Have not extensively tested AI functions.

truthcopy

I have unpaired my phone completely from my car’s Bluetooth. No need since I’m using the AAWireless for everything.

truthcopy

Oh I do, doesn’t make me like it anymore. Weird then that it’s now also ABC. No matter. Like most folks, I rarely watch terrestrial TV anymore.

truthcopy

Yup. I ordered mine last week. It said it was the last one. $149. 128GB w/Ethernet. I feel like I got away with something, ha.

truthcopy

I know exactly what it is. And it always sounds like there’s some kind of constant alert. I think it’s terrible branding.

truthcopy

Then yes, places like Thierbachs and likely any orchard will have apples to buy in the shop.

truthcopy

“First Alert” is a terrible name for this channel. If you have to be alert for everything, you’ll be alert for nothing.

truthcopy

At least some of the smaller ones no longer have pick-your-own. The peak harvest was a bit earlier this year.

I’m not sure about the larger places, though.

truthcopy

Local apples are mostly done. We usually hit Thierbachs in Marthasville for apples, cider and apple cider donuts.

Incredible service at Annie Gunns, and really good steak. You’ll get a treat if you mention it’s your special day. +1.
