I like your profile a lot overall, would definitely swipe right!
A few ideas for improvement...your first pic should have you facing the camera directly, the current pic might be good for later in your profile. While it's a flattering pic, I'd still remove the car selfie- it doesn't tell me anything about you/your life. The pictures of you + your art are great, but if you had any travel pics or pics of you with friends/at game night, I think that would help diversify your profile.
I love your fun fact, but talking about leprosy on a dating app might be a turnoff for most people. You might get more engagement with a different prompt/fact, though if that type of fun fact represents something about yourself you want people to know, it might still be worth keeping.

I'd love some if any are left! I'm active on r/RandomActsofCards and all your awesome stickers and washi tape would make for super cute decorations!

I love this love for the library. It's so cathartic to browse books and to discover a gem you'd never have found otherwise. Not all absolutely lovely afternoons have to involve spending money.

How do you deal with this? Is the answer to break up?
Part of my really wants to gently tell my pwBPD that his emotional outbursts can be manipulative, but part of me thinks that will result in a huge fight and I should just quietly set boundaries and try to live my life accordingly and hope he can be ok with it instead.

Do you enjoy your current research? If you have funding, get along with your advisor, and see the benefits in your research, I would probably finish the PhD first. There are definitely career options for people with PhDs besides academia. In general in a PhD it's important to have at least some semblance of work-life balance. Have you been able to carve out scheduled time to write/be creative? Have you been able to publish your work? That might give you an idea of how likely it is you could successfully switch fields entirely.
I wouldn't opt for opening a bookstore first. It seems pretty risky especially if that's your backup option while you try to write more full time (and opening a bookstore sounds like a hectic full time job already).
I'm not the original person who made that comment, but I read this study on the topic and it was super interesting and directly addresses different biases: Colen CG, Ramey DM. Is breast truly best? Estimating the effects of breastfeeding on long-term child health and wellbeing in the United States using sibling comparisons. Soc Sci Med. 2014 May;109:55-65. doi: 10.1016/j.socscimed.2014.01.027.
