I dont like how I always see people (idk even if they are trans) heavily criticise "trans-fem inclusive feminism" or whatever with trans-masc misandry but in all the trans content I consume and all the trans people ive interacted with for years and years and years the only place ive seen trans-masc misandry is 4chan.

Most of it are people with conservative ideas. Similar case with rapes and domestic abuse. Almost always the conservative ideas come up as the interviewed reasoning. This is because mass murder is the logical conclusion of an inherently anti social ideology. Its a virus.

Ok so here's the thing, I live in the real world and bisexual couples are different. You can say theoretical things all you want. Mature Bisexual couples are healthier than mature heterosexual couples. Thats an observable fact, I dont know how to convince you of something so very obvious. The thing that is unsaid here is "what happens to the kids who are told to wait two years" and in my anecdotal experience: drugs, failure to launch, depression, self harm, poor coping mechanisms and consistent distress. These people imagine an innocent happy child just deciding, being rejected and going on their merry way. What actually happens is that it emotionally breaks adolescents in a horrid way.

If you delay treatment you do have to accept that you are refusing to help a pathologically miserable kid and appropriately deal with those outcomes.

If you have actually learned from academic content then you would know science isn't a perfect arbiter and contains many forms of critical thinking that attempts applies the most optimal level of skepticism. This is why psychology is different to biology.

Also its very obvious you have not read any literature (or at least only a select biased portion) on transgender healthcare, outcomes and criteria. But I don't think you've read any academic paper ever. Which is fine if you can't afford it, but there are ways like libraries that can help you access science instead of basing your knowledge online magazine articles.

People here keep pointing out their own opinion on surgeries. With your comment I think it highlights that would be more effective to study viability of screening for intention. Specifically for types of social pressures (fitting in, patriarchy responses etc) and monitor later outcomes. There is a significant risk of patient harm with denial so I think initial criteria should be designed by those who have worked with a wide base transgender youth and have good outcomes, rather than having a Kenneth Zucker situation where denial outcomes were incredibly poor.

Aaand there it is. Frankly it would be optimal for a doctor to prescribe hormones to transgender children at the correct stage of development. But education is harm reduction. Kids are oddly resourceful and these kids are desperate and can end up accessing wrong types of menopause medication, ordering dodgy "feminisation pills" which dont contain estrogen and instead contain dangerous amounts of unregulated substances.

Kids will self medicate these feelings away. Drugs, self harm and really bad coping mechanisms. Its easy to say "they are too young to decide" when you think you are talking about a normal healthy kid. But thats not what untreated trans kids become. If you are lucky you'll get a miserable and detached failure to launch. If you are unlucky then you'll get a kid who has "found the correct mixture of psychoactive drugs that make you feel like a woman/man". Ive seen some kids start methanphetamines while waiting for treatment.

You either care about the kids or you care about how icky you think trans people are

I dont understand how trans men saying things like "please don't invalidate my gender" translated to supposed transmysoginy. I can't find the toxic parties. You talk like theres an extreme difference in bodies between gender but trans women don't dominate in womens sports. They are on Estrogen for years. we have had trans athletes for 2 decades and not a peep.

Not to mention, in community sports, women go play in the men's leagues sometimes (when there isnt mysoginy everywhere) and they do well. building upon that: I find when you are a trans woman coming out, in its essential nature, requires a complete rejection of the anxious honour system that drives men to do dominating things for their self esteem.

This also helps not being "sexist" in the sense that its not inherently men. But it doesnt beat around the bush about why its almost always men.

In my English speaking country, the white people also don't act as bigoted openly but as soon as you need to engage with them in society it becomes a problem. White people will stab you in the back and say you are overreacting. Typically they use their social power to get rid of the trans person in their vicinity. That said theres good people from all walks of life, unless they are fresh from conservatism, then they always always suck.

Mine does something to my mind and body if i work more than 6 hours a week at most workplaces that makes life not worth living. Like a hangover of numbness that lasts days.

It took over a decade of working life so I could have the academic qualifications to get a job which uses a certain type of emotional labor. I am lucky. I had resources and support for a decade. If not I'm sure I would be here.

I actually have really strong concerns about the public being fed quantitative results as there have been too many quantitative studies with construct validity issues shape public perception that later get falsified. Quantitative might be good for government decisions, social management and money decisions but interacting and talking and and working with people is far better informed by qualitative research, where the limitations are obvious to anyone who understands the concept of lying or being wrong. Also in qual any appropriated buzzwords lose their "ordained" nature that the public perceives "science" rather than a good practice of critical thinking.
