I actually have a super long story about how this happened to some people I knew while they were trying to track down their influencer friend who had gone missing

So a friend (friends at the time, not friends now) asked me if I could help her put the word out on how an internet friend of hers was missing. I agreed even though I only had a few 10,000 followers & the person they were looking for had well over 1 million because for whatever reason her name wasn’t evoking any kind of substantial response from said following.

I asked for pictures as well as her full name, but every picture they have her was so heavily touched up. It was impossible to actually give my followers a good idea of what she really looked like. I ended up just saying “woman in her 20s, brown hair, wears glasses, responds to [name].”

Several months after she initially went missing the story wrapped up & a lot of information came forward that’s not really relevant to what I’m talking about here. These people were her online friends for years, but still had no idea what she looked like so when she went missing, they had literally nothing to go off of but vague features like a hair colour the majority of the world has.
