They have a bad reputation. I know they've made a lot of changes, but 3 years ago they were ass and had been for awhile. When shoes cost $200+, I'm not willing experiment to see if I like them now and no one carries them locally. I'd recommend your marketing team do lots of shoe demos.

just a warning, if they are too small at all, you're toes will get fucked on a long run. It goes from feeling nothing to suddenly having a blood blister burst and stain your pretty white shoes.

Having said that, remove the very thin liner and wear the thinnest socks you have. Make you lock them down as tightly as your foot can tolerate.

I use the Specter 2 on light trails sometimes and lots on gravel and dirt roads. They the same rubber midsole material. Rubber grip is shit on wet hard surfaces and obviously there a no lugs, so I only do trail in them if dry.

I don't wear stability shoes, but I do overpronate, and I have to use them sparingly. It feels, and kind of looks like, the outsole is convex. Gives a sense that you're running on basketballs. I have some taller shoes that are much more stable, hell even the AP4 is more stable.

I had an in-network surgery, but they contracted an out-of-network anesthesiologist, so I ended up having to pay more over my max. So stupid.
