Is this the one you used? I'm in similar scenario and curious what you ended up doing.

We always stop at voyageur brewing. Their menu is probably online. Good beer, patio if it's nice.

Get ready to pay through the nose for a downtown wedding at a nice venue.

This machine ate my money a month ago (picture taken but not dispensed) and the bartender told me to call a number on it to get it back.

I've used seagull many times and would recommend. The bunkhouse is cheap and convenient. Have always used the tow service out to America point and started from there and they do a great job with all that. Owner is super nice and helpful.

Can't speak to campsites available nearby but that seems like something they could answer easily over the phone.

Not a Corvette but I have an SS sedan with the LS3, BTR stage 2 cam, and headers. I live in the city so I don't daily it, but honestly the only thing that would make it challenging for a daily is the noise in the morning. I will say I tried it with the stock converter and it was awful. Went with a circle D and it's much better.

Welcome to the neighborhood!

We stayed at campsite LS-7 last month, what a great site. Hiked in on/out Pinkerton trail.

Mirror lake ML-2 site is also good for different reasons.

Uptown and Austin aren't even in the same ballpark when it comes to this kind of stuff.

For sure, I've seen those before. Good luck

I wrote mine express disappointment with this and they passed the buck to the parks department.

Although we saw more people this afternoon while walking around, we had the same observation coming in from Chicago yesterday evening and this AM.

Have you been checking on the sales section of SSforums.com? There is not always a huge amount for sale at any given point, but you may find something that meets your need if you keep a close eye. There was a low mileage 2014 with a supercharger that just sold for low 30s on there, which was a bargain for whoever picked that one up.

Texas Hot Rides had a few recently too for what it's worth.

I bought mine at CarMax a couple years ago, they had 2 on the lot, one of which was a mystic green.

It's a damn shame

Saw one on auto trader yesterday. Just do a nationwide search.

Accurate, I saw him do it there several times this past winter. The man must have ice in his veins.

While not near, Porcupine Mountains Backcountry sites in the UP are worth the drive. It's doable on a long weekend.

We normally hang our food bags. I have considered a bear canister but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Not having to throw up a bear hang would be convenient.

Jealous, counting down the days till I can repaint my PBM.

I live downtown Chicago and commute to the suburbs, did not get a manual SS because the 2-4 hours roundtrip bumper to bumper would be my life everyday. Say what you will about autos but that sounds awful.

That's what I thought too. I've ridden on a mountain bike over that pass and the video doesn't do it justice as to how steep it is and how big those rocks are on the trail.

The latest thing I heard on this topic for the SS is that the windshield cowl is no longer made, even in reproduction, so only option is to get one secondhand or off a junker if you can find one. Just seems like such a weird part for GM or someone else not to have available considering that you can't put one on from a similar model.
