If you must use SQL Instance name, then you need to open SQL Browser udp/1434 port. When using SQL instance name, the webserver will need to find out the SQL Server assigned port first from SQL Browser service. If a SQL Express instance is using a default tcp/1433 port, instead of dynamic one, then may as well remove the instance name from SQL connection string, so webserver will directly use the default SQL port tcp/1433.

If your SQL Express is manually changed from default dynamic port to default SQL Server port (tcp/1433), then your webserver should drop the Instance name from its SQL connection. For example, instead of MyServer\MySQLInstanceName, it needs to use just MyServer.

Indeed. Usually front and rear speakers have same specs, so it's most likely to be the case here. I do hope we can mix them up. Don't really want to buy another pair of 2.5 years old HomePod 2nd Gen, and then Apple releases 3rd Gen in a year or two.
