For those who haven’t heard the good word:
Throw your berry, choose your ball, whatever you need to do
You need two hands for this: With your non-throwing hand, press and hold the pokeball or berry icon on the bottom with whatever finger is most comfortable. Without letting go, slide your finger a bit to the center and hold it there
Toss your ball like normal with your other hand, still holding down your slid finger
Release your finger after tossing, tap out of the pokeball menu, and the “flee” icon in the top left will be available.
Running doesn’t impact catching the mon. They might stay on the map for a split second after you leave the fight, but then either disappear or show the running animation.
If you’re unsure if you caught the Pokemon, you can always tap them again on your map; if it’s caught, it’ll disappear, if not you can go back into battle.

I also gave them matching Finding Nemo costumes, which isn’t scary in a traditional way, but, well…. Garados trying to be Dory is sure something

Thank you! I'm sure it'd be helpful to share what I found through the portal...
Congrats on finishing the game! As someone with dyslexia, I get how difficult coding can be. I recommend trying a few tutorials from a site like GameDev.tv. The courses are very reasonably priced and structured like a real online class with exercises and resources to help you improve.
