No I said it was lead not metal. Was just making a statement and saying that the object is lead not metal. All black powder guns shot lead balls or sabots. The item in the picture is a sabot. They are not as old or accurate as the round balls were. Black powder also has very minimal rifling like a quarter twist per couple feet.

Shoot metal from a black powder gun and let me know how it goes. I'm aware that lead is a type of metal but still different.
