And there was a time when the overwhelming scientific opinion was that the sun revolved around the earth. To hold any one idea as sacrosanct is inherently anti-scientific.

I think some of his conclusions based on religion are a little misguided, but you can't say that Pence has no principles. And that speaks volumes to his character.

Plus, I love that Trump and Pence are yin and yang. Trump made a conscious decision to choose someone who won't agree with him on everything. It shouldn't be surprising -- Trump even talks in The Art of the Deal about having respect for competence and ability over agreement. This is why he's made many job offers to people negotiating against him, and I believe the choice of Pence is very much in that spirit.

Plus, $2B surplus and over 3.4% drop in unemployment since 2013? The man gets shit done and takes care of his state.

John Paul Gutman (first name highlighted) filed an FOIA request for AUD-SI-13-32 "Audit of Department of State Compliance With Physical and Procedural Security Standards at Selected High Threat Level Posts". The available audit report is heavily redacted -- attached documents in the audit include correspondence between Harold Geisel (Deputy Inspector General) and a redacted staff member at an American embassy in a redacted country/city in early September 2012. All the recommendations discussed in the audit are redacted. The word "Benghazi" shows up unredacted on only three occasions.

I wish he'd quit it with advocating torture and waterboarding. It's not an effective way to gather true and actionable intel, it only means we are willing to stoop to the level of ISIS.

HAAAAAAMBURGER!

r/The_Donald is meant to be a shitposting circlejerk, and the rules clearly state that talking shit about Trump gets you banned. If you want conversation and debate, that is what r/AskTrumpSupporters is for, where dissenting opinions are vital to the sub's existence and primary goal. But to diss Trump on r/The_Donald and then get pissed about being banned is like going to an explicitly black tie event and being indignant that they won't let you in wearing a Sanders 2016 t-shirt.

This may be the most unintentionally honest thing she said in those clips. I fully believe her when she says she has reached her threshold for transparency.

As much as I'm admiring how gorgeous her feet are, I'm equally confused by the possible context for this moment on the show. Anyone got a source?

I'm not breaking any new ground putting my vote behind "Scott Tenorman Must Die", but it solidified the moment that Cartman was pure evil. One of the most insane and unexpected moments in television history, probably one of the single best television episodes ever broadcast. It helps that it's funny from top to bottom.

For moving the show in a new direction, "You're Getting Old" is another major landmark of the series.

But for pure enjoyment, something that makes me laugh just as hard every time I watch it? "A Million Little Fibers". Because Oprah's minge and asshole take a crowd hostage.

The one time I took shrooms, "Free Willzyx" made me cry like a motherfucker. It's maybe the saddest episode ever.

My exact thought. That must've hurt like a bitch!

I do a podcast with one of my best lady friends, and we dedicated an episode to discussing the 50 Shades of Grey movie. She is intimately familiar with all three books, and I was completely new to the whole experience. We ended up butting heads pretty hard on this one, and thought y'all might enjoy it. You can find the episode on our website, on iTunes, or on SoundCloud. You can also subscribe to our RSS. If you want to skip the silliness and get straight to the movie talk, it starts around 8:50.

Lamer Than Us Episode 7 - Pizza Pits - NSFW

Website | iTunes | RSS | SoundCloud

Alex and Adam preview their next #1 single, "Bongos", before offering advice to a Redditor (who may or may not be Jeff Goldblum) on a better way to establish his dominance in his next job interview. They jump to copyright Jizzshit (or maybe Shitjizz -- either way, patent pending), and Adam's interviewee from the future (who may or may not be Jeff Goldblum) is not what he seems. Finally, President Barack Obama (who is definitely not Jeff Goldblum) gives his State of The Poon-ion address in this week's Dating Game. Warning: This episode may or may not include horrible impressions of Jeff Goldblum. We hope you enjoy the show -- and by we, I mean me and my ass.

My Gayest Straight Friend Episode 9 - The Chemistry of Wet Cardboard (50 Shades of Grey Movie Premiere Special) - NSFW

Website | iTunes | RSS | SoundCloud

Sometimes, friends fight. This week, Krissy and Adam butt heads in a big bad way after going to the first screening of 50 Shades of Grey. Adam is surprised by the tameness of the S&M, but disturbed by the story's misinterpretations of kink and consent. Krissy is hot and bothered from the first frame, argues that stories are just stories (and that the 50 Shades trilogy has a captivating one), and believes disliking Christian Grey is a feature of that story instead of a bug. However, they both agree that Jamie Dornan was a poorly cast lead, and take a moment to ponder Ian Somerhalder as the man behind the ties. This episode contains major spoilers for the film 50 Shades of Grey, as well as all three books of E.L. James' trilogy. If you want to skip the silliness and get right to the meat of the discussion, the movie talk starts at around 8:50.

LAMER THAN US - Episode 5: Just Beat It [NSFW]

Website Download | RSS | iTunes

The boys give advice to TheTrueMountainMan about his clear sexual tension with Madge, and Captain Sickday regales Adam with tales of the many child celebrities he's helped out since time immemorial. On this week's Dating Game, Alex tries to put Gollum's love of stepping on fruit to good use, while one anonymous bachelor has a few ("strictly hetero") ideas about recreating his favorite Michael Jackson video in an abandoned warehouse.
