Has anyone noticed that In both the second Aldo fight and the Ortega fight, Max Holloway has had perfect openings for submissions but chooses to beat his opponent down even more? In both fights the opponent practically gives him the submission almost as a way out, and right when Max is about to lock it in, he pulls back and keeps beating them down. There’s was a couple times at the end of the fourth against Ortega where you could see that he was leaving his head exposed, Aldo also gave him his neck just to be greeted by more fists.
