I don't really think this is that bad. It's a meme-based game and plenty have been made based on the Western world too.

Actually, the anti-cheat can work fine on Linux; the BattleEye devs have said so and do support Linux in other games.
But Bungie doesn't want to be on the hook for supporting Linux and having to resolve any issues that turn up because of it so they don't allow it.

Not saying Bungie is wrong here; it's not easy to support a whole platform and Bungie is already doing PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
