oh interesting....could I maybe attach them to the sides of the tent? I can't put them under the plants bc I have many wire shelves stacked and I need water to be able to run through them.

oh thank you! Saw these on amazon and somehow decided they would be a no go with water. I would be careful but if it caught some spray from the hose is that ok?
wheresbeetle
oh interesting....so basically the steam is enough to warm it? Do you think I could get the air itself up 15-20 degrees with just that?

can you explain a little better? This would be s small portable unit that has oil in it? When I think oil units I think radiators in NYC apartments 😂

I took screenshot to post but it won't seem to let me....it's just a list of the devices and an on/off toggle for the bluetooth

I got so excited after reading this comment because yes that does sound exactly like the problem....but there's no advanced button or anything like that visible in my menu

I only have one other thing that I connect via BT which is my speaker, and yes actually, it often disconnects as well. It's very easy to reconnect, unlike the mouse and keyboard, bc I can use the mouse and keyboard to do it. The problem I have is when my keyboard and mouse are inactive or disconnected or whatever the problem is I have no way to interact with the computer. This is the reason I often have to force restart the Mac to wake it up. And in the case that happened a couple weeks ago, both the mouse and keyboard disconnected and I actually had to drive to a store to buy a plug in keyboard (plus adapter, bc they all had the old USB plugs), just to literally type my password so I could get back in and reconnect it all. I found that incredibly infuriating on a machine that cost more than 4k.

The best advice I can give you also based on you other post is really look inside yourself and ask whether you want an independent Starbucks or a real community space. You can do your independent shop on the Starbucks model but imo you'll just be doing what they do worse and less efficiently, bc you don't have the backup infrastructure. We have a shop in town that does this, every drink has 12 ingredients whipped cream syrup sprinkles it's crazy. Their costs are high. People like their drinks but again realize who you are directly competing against, that type of customer also wants a drive through, huge sizes, super fast,
Doordash etc. Our model is the opposite and a huge part of that is attracting a customer base we want. One that is easier to accommodate and overall much friendlier and kinder. Ask yourself if you are a third wave shop or another Starbucks. Both can work, but you will feel different as the owner depending on what you pick.

We have hired a ton of ex starbucks baristas and while they need to relearn what coffee is, they are excellent multitaskers, on point and generally great with customers. And, the vast majority are interested in coffee they've just been given bad info. Which, imo is invaluable, the rest can be taught. You could do way worse.

Thank you for this help. Is there a way I could determine that for sure before I haul the whole thing in? Apple naturally says it's the peripherals not the computer

Respectfully, I'm also attempting to be honest about the fact that you will likely spend at least $150 grand on this and very very unlikely make any of it back. Thats honesty whether it sounds encouraging or not

Ask yourself why you are doing this. Honestly. Bc I can tell you that we've been open 8 years and you had better, truly, want to have a coffee business. For your community, for yourself if you care about that, but it won't be for money. No one is getting rich in the industry. It's getting harder every day. Insurance, pos, utilities costs of goods everything going up 20% or more every year.
Every time I see I person with a background in finance here I immediately worry. You best think of this as a hobby or else you will be very dissappointwd

Oh sure; the account is called MyBreastCancerChic, she has an Instagram also where I think she posts the same videos. I think I just googled "mastectomy implant flipped" or something like that

Also started out as a seedling, ordered for $110 when they were still "rare" lol

I actually came here to say that also...with kindness, 2 inch growth in 3 years is not good. Something is very off. My Thai is 7 feet tall at 4 years old

I know this discussion is about the culture but unfortunately that's also not enough light 🙁

oh thank you I appreciate that! also for the encouragement about Ashby- it seems great to me but it's always easier when it's not you moving, I suppose. I think they will love it once they get over the mental hump
