Could it be a corvette like problem? Is it a mid-life crisis car or does it take you until mid-life to be able to finally afford one. I'm 42, been riding for...20 some years? I've owned as many bikes. But I didn't go after a harley until I was in my 30s, had been to war, and came home with some cash in my pocket.
Harley, or its riders?, could be reaping what they’ve sowed.
The cheaper / smaller entry level bikes, and their riders, have been looked down on for years. When riders get together they often wanna ride straight roads. . . straight to the bar or dealership. New bikes that try new things; FXR, Vrod, etc, generally aren’t greeted warmly.
I mean, not to mention I bought a used hayabusa for around 5k years ago, and it was one of the best bikes I’ve ever owned. It could beat riding a harley in almost every metric.
Compare that to the used Road King Special and the suspension I had to put on it to be able to enjoy riding anything other than a straight road, and all for. . .~26k
Hell, I think if I was to do it all over again.. There's only a few of the harleys I've owned, that I would have bought
But I didn’t know that at 20.

My blast from the past. I remember thinking I was crazy for paying so much at the time.

. .perhaps around the same date that the ubuntu update was pulled off the net for a few days, due to an open source problem?
"Ubuntu 23.10 download got pulled down due to a malicious translation" - 13 October 2023
it's a guess.
Good luck digging through all the digital panhandling :)

I got mine working today. My use case was just trying to roll my gaming rig into my server. I was trying to use game stream from Nvidia, and Parsec.
My issues in parsec were changing the codec to H.265. I assumed the system would work better with the newer codec but it was the cause of all my lag / problems. As I changed to H.264 the entire setup smoothed out.
With moonlight, I found out today that had dropped support for game stream. I assume this is the root of my issues there. I installed sunshine and linked moonlight to it, and it was smooth sailing from there.
I didn't have to mess with any settings for sunshine, I just installed it and it worked. I played Diablo 4 and Remnant 2 for a few hours tonight with zero issues.
Personally, I found that I perfered sunshine with moonlight over parsec.
I never messed with the settings in the bios and what not. I just kept working with the tools mentioned until I got it figured.

For what it's worth, I'm trying to do the same thing. I'm at work now, but I'm going to read through all this info when I get home.
I'm running prox on an epyc 7702p, 256gigs, giving a win 11 VM 24 threads, 64gigs, rtx 4070 and a m.2 passed through.
Using parsec from a Linux box I had windows running perfect, nicehash mining test worked, and gaming seemed good... Until it suddenly started lagging, at random, in remnant 2.
I've got testing to do, and a lot of info in here to go over.. but I'm curious what you find on your end

You wanna work on it, or ride it?
The 72 is probably as powerful, worth a little bit more, and has 12 years worth of updates. Not to mention the 72's motor will be wildly more reliable than a TC88. *you can make a TC88 better after you update the cam chain BS, but then you're hoping for the best on the bearing, cam run-out, and crank moving.
All in all, it's up to you man.. try to bulletproof the TC, or just ride the 72 and change the oil.
Some people love to work on shit, some people just wanna ride. Who are you?

If I like it or not, it's here. My hope would be that it adds excitement. A way for people like Jack and Brad to stir the pot as an example.
I've found the last few seasons to be exciting. I've enjoyed the unpredictable outcome of the races. I hope this helps in that manner more than hurts.

I've always felt Rins was the faster / better rider. I know Mir has a title, but if I recall Rins was injuried that year and didn't race as much. That said, Rins staying on the bike would be better for Rins and everyone.
I'm wondering if this honda isn't a stepping stone until he jumps to another team. I could see Mir and Marc working to restore Honda while Rins slips away to another bike screaming "I just wanna go fast!"

I only use reddit for motoweek, so I'm not the best at it. But I'm pretty sure it says "crossposted by" at the top.

I've always wanted to throw my leg over one of these, but thus far, no luck. Enjoy

I'm glad rins locked down a ride. I hope it goes well for him

Mav needs to go to motoamerica. He'll be a big fish in a small pond and they'll bend a bike to his ego.
I'm sorry but after all the shit that's surrounded him, and his results! He's got the nerve to say he shouldn't have to change for the bike?!
I get they make millions and are cocky and shit...but ffs head from ass.
just try harder
