Best to probably ask Virgin for the steps and the information she needs to email them .. you just have to get lucky with the call agent who knows what is going on.
wsataday
That is not correct that your friend cannot transfer the FVC.. they definitely can. They have to email Virgin with their information, the FVC information, their information and your account information. It takes a bit of time for them to process it though.
wsataday
I am not sure. I sail a lot and it's always consistently been 7 days. Not saying it didn't happen since it's Virgin and anything can happen lol
wsataday
Try to get off as early as you can since this is international flight
wsataday
If you can't print it, then it's okay. I have never printed mine and have never had an issue/result in significant delay. Just make sure the port person writes the cabin number legibly.
wsataday
Virgin always send it out only a week out. No way to access it from anywhere else either.
wsataday
Yup .. quite the cut but better than nothing I guess
wsataday
Sounds like a closed-loop Miami sailing. If the app doesn't work, they can check you in at the physical check-in. Bring the birth certificate as well
wsataday
Looks like a glitch .. never seen that before myself though. Also, be careful that post-voyage MNVV is not the same as onboard MNVV since you only get the loot and not the discount.
wsataday
Probably can try to tell them your issues and get it escalated to see if they snap remove the first mate. They just change their policies so not sure now
wsataday
They just change it so that they will refer you to the first mates for any changes to be made on the bookings now.
wsataday
You can stack mnvv with solo supplement discount. You need to call or get first mate to do it for you though since you can't do that via website yourself.
When they cancel your MNVV, you would have received the $150 in your account as FVC that you can apply to your new booking
Tbh, self servicing MNVV is not easy and it's one of the things that's way easier with a first mate and doesn't help when you get untrained agent on the phone to help either.

Same ol

That's surprising because they normally have the ADA ramp. Maybe it's too steep or maybe the ADA ramp is only on certain deck, I can't recall how it is here

Depending how long you are there, I think many people do an island hopping tour at Tortola. Bimini is a good port to snorkel with sharks
wsataday
Congrats! Depending on how much you want to do, you can do a lot just in Tiano Bay port for Puerto Plata itself if you just want to chill and relax (that's assuming not many ships are docked there that day), it's like another Bimini Beach club but bigger. San Juan you can self explore or get a tour to explore the old town. Bimini for first timers, I recommend to just go and spend time at the Beach Club and ignore all the gold cart people.
wsataday
Yeah that's super surprising
wsataday
It will come .. usually almost a week out
wsataday
At the reservation desk? Or you guys tried to walk in?
wsataday
The internal system, website, app, onboard don't really talk to each other nicely so it depends where they are looking at and even if it's good on their side, it might not show up properly on the app preboarding.
It's not the end of the world. On embarkation, go to the restaurant reservation desk (with human) at the terminal or onboard (not walk-in) to fix all your reservations.
wsataday
It's not tapioca, that's why. More like jelly.

Would love to help and give my insight. I live on the ship and go to all the solo events and usually help run the solo Whatsapp group for VV sailings.
wsataday
They usually provides discount on embarkation day. Spa will sometimes have 30% discount randomly throughout if they are not selling well or during port days. Otherwise, nothing much other than booking with sailor loot

Imo medium vibe with good food does fit Virgin for the long voyage like the panama.
16 nights from MIA to LAX and 17 for LAX to MIA. The crossing back is on the later side in 2027 (Nov)
Just checked, you can purchase in-voyage protection within 14 days of sailing.
