I am baffled by some of the people on here. 6 pro has used subagents for me as well. No idea how they are even having an opinion on anything like this when they cant recognize subagents being used in a screenshot…

Wish this had 5.6 luna. 6 luna is just worse IME and i havent bothered swapping from 5.6

yeahidoubtit

Currently using both. If you have got the money the 20 dollar plan for claude gives a good amount of usage and is a pretty good compliment to codex for 2nd opinions and especially UI and design work. Been using it for design work/planning, and final review before I check the code myself

yeahidoubtit

Shouldnt be too hard now if you really gotta burn through them quick. Just use ultrafast for the 6x usage drain

yeahidoubtit

I think they are/will be useful in the future. I am just annoyed its affecting other areas of the service since they clearly dont have the compute to handle it all yet.

yeahidoubtit

No 6.1 sol is great, just very slow. 6-sol was the terrible one

yeahidoubtit

I did not have the experience the benchmarks showed at all with gemini 3. It was beyond disappointing after seeing the benchmarks and actually putting it to work in my projects. Immediately went back to claude and codex. Hopefully this is different, the more legitimate sota models the better but im not going to get my hopes up again.

This makes ultrafast even more frustrating to me. They just dismiss the slowness criticisms with well use fast mode or ultrafast like the cost difference isn’t a factor. I dont care how fast it is at 6x the cost. Why cant we have a reasonable standard tps speed?

yeahidoubtit

So now we are just assuming things? Chat is still separate from work/codex. This is clearly a trade off and one of the reasons its not on plus.

yeahidoubtit

I dont understand how some of you make statements like this. Obviously opus is way cheaper than astra they arent the same tier model…astra is fable sized. Just because opus beats it at benchmarks doesnt change the model size/cost.

yeahidoubtit

They said its unlimited usage and works 24/7

yeahidoubtit

I mean it wouldn’t make sense for plus users considering its unlimited usage and it runs on astra…the entitlement is kind of crazy in that regard. While anthropic does have the better models at the moment, their 20 dollar plan doesnt let you use fable at all…why is openai expected to have every expensive feature available for the cheapest plan? That sort of thing is what leads to overall usage being lowered for all plans to compensate.

yeahidoubtit

The example Sam used seemed pretty bad imo. Migrate a legacy API? How is that even any different than passing it as a codex goal/task?

yeahidoubtit

I dont get the entitlement for some of this stuff. Is every single thing released for the future expected to be available to plus too? This sort of stuff gets in the way of legitimate issues like lowered usage etc. The pro model has literally never been available to plus users, where is the expectation of plus having every new feature coming from?

yeahidoubtit

Yes, and not only that a lot of users agree 6 sol is worse than 5.6 sol especially at following instructions and it needs more hand holding.

yeahidoubtit

Yes they are still shared. Chat is using the same usage allowance as Claude Code/cowork.

yeahidoubtit

I also grabbed a 20 dollar claude sub and have pro 5x codex sub. I do think anthropic has better limits at the moment but you are overstating it in my experience. 5x codex is still significantly more usage, definitely does not seem like 5x compared to 20 dollar claude though, more like 3x

yeahidoubtit

I have only ever had a 20 dollar claude sub and pro chatgpt for a year now. I also prefer codex but you are way too invested on one side typing this up... the more competition the better for end users.

yeahidoubtit

id like to see the other reasoning levels for opus 5.5 included. 5.5 medium and high both have higher scores than gpt 6 sol max but closer in score so it would be a good cost comparison.

yeahidoubtit

what ive been doing is having the orchestrator thread create new threads as fresh chats and then stop working, those chats when done message back the orchestrator. Pollutes conversation history, yes but worth it for the usage saving by avoid constant polling or checks on the tasks from the main thread.

yeahidoubtit

No more like increases in gas efficiency for engines. If they figured out ways in the backend to run the models using less compute/power then why would they want to keep the older more costly models around?

yeahidoubtit

That’s so disappointing and a bit worrying. I get the UI was a universal pain point for many users but this is core functionality imo. Its not even like its failing to directplay and transcoding instead, it just outright has no audio playback. I had also posted in the forums when the update first came to firesticks many months ago

yeahidoubtit

I just use a scheduled task on reset day for this. Its always been like this but scheduled tasks and newer features have made it a lot more manageable

yeahidoubtit

Do you know if dts audio is working correctly again? I swapped back to the old app a few months ago when none of my dts files would output any sound using the new app

yeahidoubtit

Hoping they give an actual reset too as i probably lost all my cache when my tasks got cut off midway
