I always thought a good explanation would be Sten broke off his own horns in regret of what he did.

It’s a cool design I won’t lie, but the og design just feels right for me.

ikr, most people like the da2 design but Sten’s design is just right for me. Plus it would’t make sense for him to be able to equip different helmets if he had horns getting in the way.

DAO More distinct looks to all the armors and weapons, especially unique ones. Better mage cowls, add hoods and cloaks. More side quests and places to explore.

The action is not solid lol, barely any action sequence just still frames. Feel like all their animation budget went to that rooftop scene which was pretty unnecessary tbh. Other than that I guess it‘s okay. Suikoden 2 is one my favourite childhood games so my fingers cross hoping the rest of the episodes can at least have better pacing, without leaving out too many stuff, and some decent fight scenes please.

If you set the bar low enough, it‘s aite I guess. I made the mistake of expecting too much.. and got disappointed too.
