Some cards can gain skillpoints pas their max allowed overall but u can't actually use them. On the bottom right there u can see the /77 meaning the max overall you can upgrade to is 77 with the current Evo on the card. Caleb can be upgraded if you give him the 82 qb evo in the Evo store
