Our backup QB ran the offense correctly. You were maybe more vanilla in the backend but there were plenty of blitzes that he read and got the ball to the hot route. It was night and day for what the offense could do as soon as he came in. So yeah, positive signs for our team.

Everything else is a lot of words to say that yes, you are big mad that you won by 16 instead of 22+. Cool story, your team was better and if you want the score to look prettier your backups shouldn't be beat by the other teams backups so that they need to "incidentally" tangle feet to avoid a TD

zorro_pickanalytics

You're the one all over this thread moaning about how the refs took away your precious 20 point win, clearly it deserved celebration for how much it hurt you guys to give it up.

If you want a real explanation, it was his first career TD. So yeah, he was excited.

zorro_pickanalytics

It is in fact part of the game to be penalized if you tackle a guy trying to catch a pass

ETA: laughing at everyone who thinks that tackling guys while the ball was halfway to the receiver isn't what was literally happening. Sorry the refs made you play real pass defense to win by 20+ like you wanted

zorro_pickanalytics

Tommy kicked it up for a break first game of 4th set and then Bublik imploded

Would you be out of compliance if they moved partway through the semester and their old school was so far behind pace for target minutes that you couldn't complete the IEP?

The enforcement of all of these laws is that the facilities are properly installed and maintained as checked by unannounced inspection not that there's 100% uptime from every contingency. They are about the responsibility of businesses to provide facilities to their employees and customers. Obviously if city water was out for multiple days businesses would close but it would be absurd for the city to also tell them they were all in violation of building code and have to pay a fine until they fix their restrooms. There's nothing for them to fix, the city has no water.

zorro_pickanalytics

This is still entirely irrelevant. It's building code about maintaining proper facilities for inspection or your business will be shut down by the city. Temporary disruptions as a result of a city service problem do not and quite obviously should not require the entire city to shutdown including medical facilities for people who may have a problem caused by the lack of water.

There is certainly a length of time with no working restrooms that Disney should close and the city may even require them to close but it is not due to building code that they do meet but are impacted by a problem from the city itself

zorro_pickanalytics

Can you explain what you mean? Because I'm not understanding what you're saying. They probably have supplies to wash hands without city water and the city code isn't about business size. Obviously Disney couldn't operate by building a single toilet in each park but it would satisfy this law.

zorro_pickanalytics

That law is quite obviously about building code to operate a business and not temporary disruptions. Unless you seriously think every small business needs to close if someone clogs the toilet.

There's a lot of logistics in closing the park, the whole city lost water so they would have been funneling everyone into a post fireworks size crowd that wasn't near restrooms either for an issue that was going to be fixed before half of them were even out of the park.

I'm sure Disney would happily push the boundary of safety to stay open but I am highly skeptical that closing the park would have been better for guest safety here.

Did you only have 3 seats per side? I think the accessible boats don't work well because they sit higher in the water. Had it happen to me twice.

zorro_pickanalytics

Entrance is top middle, so that's a left turn from the path to the other ropes.

zorro_pickanalytics

Neither of those stats care if it's 4 games or 5. You still have a duplicated stat that is wildly incorrect at a quick glance

zorro_pickanalytics

DisneySea, but that feels like cheating.

zorro_pickanalytics

Your example is the guy who played power conference football before focusing on basketball and had failing kidneys when he tried to pick up boxing?

zorro_pickanalytics

Absolutely crazy to see people getting mad about this. Nobody is being blocked from selling a ticket they already have, they might not be allowed to renew their season tickets if they sold more than half of them on public exchanges for the full year. It's obviously good for the normal person to crack down on people who are making money off of actual fans by buying from the team with the goal of selling again later.

zorro_pickanalytics

No. The ESPN announcement yesterday specifically said that all of their local rights will only be through MLB platforms (ie, MLB.tv) for 2026. ESPN will be running the behind the scenes stuff but for now you will pay $20/month or whatever to MLB to get the games.

That will likely change at some point but it seems like they want to wait until they have rights for more teams before trying to convince people to buy a larger bundle through the ESPN app.

zorro_pickanalytics

Specifically not ESPN+ at this point, the team packages are exclusively through MLB platforms for 2026.

zorro_pickanalytics

Presumably they chose to remove a section that can be worked on from outside the helix

zorro_pickanalytics

For tonight's game I paid 13,000 at ticketjam for a convenience store pickup. There were much cheaper seats in the visitor section (7,500 range) on ticketx which is more tourist friendly but I wanted to cheer for the Tigers. Original price for my seat was probably half of what I paid but it still felt cheap compared to what my friends are paying for Mariners tickets this week.

zorro_pickanalytics

The Dodgers will be playing for WS HFA. Whoever wins our series gets it in that H2H and 3-0 vs 0-3 flips it for most of their potential opponents, so they probably care a bit. Less than setting their rotation for WC but more than just throwing the series.

zorro_pickanalytics

Not really sure, everything I know is from researching because I'm traveling to Japan in October and wanted to see a game. Hanshin published a page with all the info after they clinched

zorro_pickanalytics

They're not available yet. Hanshin tickets go on sale to the public October 8th (if not sold out to fan clubs). Teams playing in the first round will be available before then but not until they actually clinch hosting.

They will be available for resale at that point, I have no idea what price to expect. Official prices for Hanshin are extremely low by US standards but the markup will take demand into account more than that.

zorro_pickanalytics

Definitely not. There's a small amount of uncertainty of when the rotation of his foot actually touches the base and the ball hits the glove during those couple of frames.

zorro_pickanalytics

The 0-1 pitch was outside

zorro_pickanalytics

He wasn't resigning. We traded a few months of Randy Johnson in a non-playoff season for our 2001 ace, starting SS, and 5th starter.

zorro_pickanalytics

You're the one who sounds ridiculous. He did absolutely nothing different from someone trying to get her attention for something important. It wasn't so he shouldn't have done that. But even OP's description which is colored by already knowing it's a creepy interaction does not read like the initial contact scared her, just was unwarranted and startling.

Chill out and realize this is an actual interaction with someone trying to get a date in the middle of Disney Springs and not in a hypothetical dark alley being spun around by the shoulder.
