I always have an unmade bed, what do I do about it

zsdrfty

I definitely think this is the case - despite everyone insisting it must not be, there's a reason they keep inching further and further towards Saga every year, and KOS-MOS being more common is one of the few changes they deliberately made here

zsdrfty

I'm surprised Gorg is that common! He's always super late in all my playthroughs

zsdrfty

I do think that the compromise they went for was silly at times - like, the queens were fake robots? Okay...

zsdrfty

And for some reason it has 100 votes

zsdrfty

I swear Black Eyed Peas were like the damn Beatles around 2008-2009, and luckily they vanished

zsdrfty

Only 10? Every store I've ever been to has been playing 80s pop since the 80s, it's hell

zsdrfty

They were one of my least favorite acts ever lol, I'm glad they at least apologized

zsdrfty

That was the most 2012 shit ever, I hated it

zsdrfty

More of you need to actually call 911 when someone is driving recklessly - I've watched people get pulled over before after I've called them in

zsdrfty

Is it really a whole lot different from the music of earlier eras that became popular, though? Film scores are very serious and carefully composed - they're like opera in that sense

zsdrfty

Cellists get this nightmarish, totally non-idiomatic sextuplet excerpt that's at the end of the main theme - there's a good chance you never even noticed it in the score because it's so quiet and barely works physically

zsdrfty

The one answer left by someone else is always some variation of "go fuck yourself asshole"

Mahler is the classical version of artists that blow up on RateYourMusic and get endlessly hyped in an online feedback loop

zsdrfty

Warren County is a joke, but at least they're very slowly improving as well

zsdrfty

Most of them are barely even "unfortunate" in any meaningful sense - they live in Ocean County, New Jersey

zsdrfty

He'll talk about how NJ hates mental health, and he'll spend the rest of his days making occasional over-the-phone contributions to some random right-wing news network

zsdrfty

The goddamn Blue Danube and Spring from the Four Seasons... an entire lifetime of hating this Little Einsteins shit and its absurd earworm potency

I like all of Pictures at an Exhibition, but the main promenade theme and ESPECIALLY the Great Gate get stuck in my head really, really badly... the latter in particular might be the worst earworm I've ever had in my life, to the point where I can easily use it as my mental reference for where an Eb is

zsdrfty

One of the stickiest melodies ever written, it's like it's determined to make you stop liking it lol

zsdrfty

I've never quite been able to take it seriously lol

zsdrfty

Ahhh... I love a grass lawn that I don't care about myself, but maintain so that my horrible neighbors won't silently judge me

zsdrfty

I try my best to understand what's going on in Piper as an American, but a lot of it is very conspicuously foreign to our tastes and expectations - like, stateside, nobody would dare write cutesy (if that's the right word) songs that are literally about scarecrows and gnomes on a rock album

zsdrfty

Right? He makes a little T sound both times he says "once had"

zsdrfty

I've come to love all the length of the last movement, but that third is really the odd one out - even when it's played at a tempo that makes sense (and not the horrifically slow dirge everyone seems to prefer), it's just a bit too soupy

Edit: actually, listening to the Zander recording again, it does work pretty well overall at a brisk pace
