Birds from Aransas

Took a day trip to Aransas to see the whooping cranes (I did, but man they don’t come anywhere close to people, do they?) and saw a bunch of cool birds I don’t normally see in the Dallas area (great blue heron excluded, I just liked how the pictures of it came out). I only wish I could have stayed another day

I would love to see a little blue heron one day, I’m jealous! 🥹

It was an active little thing and really neat to watch! This and the green heron I saw a little later just kind of hung out in bushes with their heads poked up and were super hard to see until they decided to fly over to new places. I guess it makes sense that they're kind of shy, this place was absolutely crawling with alligators

Forgot about the alligators you guys have down there, where I am the herons pretty much own the place haha. Sounds like an awesome day of birdwatching!

Hey! I’m sorry to say, but I don’t think I have the breeders contact information anymore and couldn’t tell you if she’s still producing dogs. Bandit belongs to my parents so even though I see him many times a week I don’t have access to his papers or history. I know she was based somewhere out of Terrell, Texas, but that’s about all the information I have unfortunately
