Literally not knowing nothing about the real world

Like everyone else, wasted time and effort teaching useless shit. Not focusing on strengths and trying to put everyone in the same "box."

I got kicked out of college for apparently not doing any of the work even though I did every assignment they gave me to the best of my ability.

I mean I had been struggling a little bit due to the whole global pandemic thing but I still turned in all of the work I was given.

Telling me to go to college when I didn't know what I want to do in life. Then find out during college that I've always hated school. Wasted years in school, I wish high school told me about certifications

They kind of ignored any disabilities I might have had, and joined the local conservatism and ableism of the times, eventually taking scads of money and providing little in the way of effective therapy.

Money.

We are educated to work, not to have a happy and relaxed life.

Final couple of years of High School was a disaster. I had no real teachers for literally half my lessons, cover teacher after cover teacher that I never see more than once.

Graduated in 1988. I knew in my sophomore year that I'd complete every science and math class that my school offered. The only class I'd need to graduate is English-12. I tried to arrange to take English-11 and English-12 in my Junior year, but our only English teacher refused. No other options were provided. They made me go to school for a whole year to take one class.

The kicker is, English at my school was a bullshit busy work class. We were only required to read one book in four years, our homework was often the crossword or word jumble on the weekly 'reader'. It was like a mini magazine for kids written at about an 8th grade reading level.

I've pretty much had to unlearn the false or outdated stuff they taught me and teach myself the things I actually need to know. At least I didn't fall for the needing college fallacy.

Uk doesn’t really have any type of AP classes or being moved grades (years) I costed through school getting good marks till I hit university and just couldn’t learn how to study/work for it because I never had done before. I ended up dropping out and spending a few years getting myself back on my feet

Having to learn about sex through porn because schools teach about STDs and pregnancy, but not what sex is

I went to a small, hyper-competitive, religious private school. I had no direction and no focus and no will (or desire) to succeed there. For 6 years my parents were told I was fine and the school was handling it and for 6 years I barely got through. That kind of thing really bites you in the ass when you go to college and have no idea why you're there. Someone in my school should have been blunt with my parents and told them it was a bad fit, but tuition was high and they liked the money coming in so instead they told my parents I'd be good and they could figure it out.
