Pediatric Residency Class Rank

Hey everyone,

I was wondering is there a way to update schools with my new class rank once it has been released? My institutional letter uses my class rank at the moment, but with the term ended, I know my class rank will change based on what I have been hearing around. So I was wondering, is there a way to update it?

Thanks!

Your residency program is gonna look for your deans letter for your rank. You can technically put your rank in your CV/Resume too but does it really matter at that point?

Got it, so im out of luck then?

donkey_xotei

Yeah, but I doubt your rank is gonna change that much for anyone interviewing you to care.

I hope so! My rank did change quite a bit from last term, I went up 6 spots

donkey_xotei

I am sure you’re very proud to rise 6 spots but your residency programs literally would not even bat an eye. So many things matter more in peds than rank.

Thanks! I appreciate the advice

If you don’t mind me asking, what’s the class rank and gpa range competitive for peds residency?

Im6cninoit [OP]

Top 33% at least which I assume is 3.6 or higher for hospital based programs
