Can we ban course gurus?

Seen so many posts:

Ive made quadrupillion using this secret technique, using AI and other bs - willing to help. PM me.

So when you PM - they started to sell courses.

This is so f annoying.

Can we ban those people from community?

If you want to Ad, just be straightforward: I made so much money and here i want to sell my course. Here what you will get:

Or if you really want to teach people and you are so damn rich, do that for free.

And i am relatively new, and there Are people who are willing to help without draining your bank, thats why i appreciate this community.

But there are also others, who are “yes i will do everything, join my community for 999$, and as a proof here are few sms screenshots”

We’ve made several post about this. If someone is trying to DM you courses or products not verified or approved by the sub and have not contributed any value to the sub, they will be perma banned.

Please report or flag any DMs or posts so we can take proper action.

Thank you.

IMO this sub is better than most about filtering it out.

It’s a fine line, because unpopular opinion, but I do think there is a % that can be helpful, and to expect people to give you their time for free is wild.

Yes that’s always annoying but Reddit is a very popular pool of like minded individuals so it would make sense to pump your business there.

Mods here seem great, if someone seems disingenuous, message mods and it’ll weed itself out, but internet going to internet.

I’ve noticed in teaching my self wholesaling that a lot of gurus will also provide some free information on YouTube but they’ll misinform you on a crucial part of the process or sometimes just not explain at all. So if you blindly follow their steps you will fail and not know why, increasing your chances in buying their mentorship program/course. I’d like to think they don’t do it on purpose but the more experienced I become the more I realize there’s no way some of these guys are advising in good faith 😪. Lucky we got Reddit tho! Learned a lot here and chat gpt is very underrated too. You must be very specific with it, and It will give you the wrong solution maybe half of the time but that’s where you use your judgement. At least it’s not purposely trying to misguide you

Rule of thumb in this industry — if they sell ANYTHING = Completely disregard anything they say & assume they lie constantly. Usually the case. Theres plenty of people, like myself that don’t sell shit & are just busy actually DOING the business. However the advice I will offer is usually not optimistic, nor what new people want to hear because its honest. This business is sold on optimism. Not honesty sadly. Most new people learn the hard way after a lot of heartbreak

Yes i agree, i have no issues with people who are open about it, since you know what you get.
