What is the likelihood of these restocking before the end of May?
New to the shot show coupon they do, assuming this is the reason for just about everything being sold out so don't know their restock schedule.

I ain’t gonna pay 2500 bucks for a Geissele. That’s LMT money.

What the heck! Why is your shipping so cheap. Mine cost $200. And when I asked G$ about it they said they have to ship it next day air that’s why it’s so expensive.

I honestly don’t get the appeal of their rails. I’d rather have the RIS III from DD.
I like both. I’m big on the G$ Fed rail though. It’s built like a brick shithouse.
Actually curious why do you say LMT is better I’ve read some things about their qc? I’m deciding between a spec war and Super duty right now

Simple really, they have some qc issues, but no more than Geissele does. The only difference is they typically have cost more than Geissele all these years so people bring attention to it more.
But provided u are the other 90% of customers who have good qc, ur getting a better rifle for ur money. Ur getting things like a fully ambi lower, and not the kind that has the dumb sig lever, u get a truly monolithic rail (not just top but all four sides), and u get a good trigger. U also get a gun that is much easier to swap barrels on, given that if u can afford the gun it’s assumed that u shoot enough for that to actually be a concern, while still having it properly hold zero.
The question is whether or not u run ur gun hard enough and often enough for these features to matter to u. Suffice to say that for 80% of Americans, even a Geissele or a BCM is more gun than they actually need, so don’t go paying 3k for a rifle u will never shoot. Cuz then it absolutely will NOT be worth it.

Yeah. I’ve owned a SD before and I own a MARS-L currently. The MARS has features like the monolithic rail that somewhat justify its price. The Geissele doesn’t, it’s just a Geissele built big standard AR. Those rifles were 1,500-1,600 dollar guns until the stupid price hikes of Covid. They do not justify MARS pricing.
Doubtful sadly. Usually no restocks until coupon expires but you might get lucky. Just highly unlikely based on last two years

Would I need to go to shot show to get the coupon?
Nope you can actually find some people on here giving them away or depending on how desperate you are for you, can buy one on eBay for a few $. Shot show is usually I think in January sometime so look out around then. You could probably still find a coupon for this years but the inventory is not great and isn't going to get better really until it expires

I don't think G$ site itself will restock since shotshow coupons run til like end of may 2026. Better luck them running a sale through PA or other sites getting stock in like rooftop/op/eurooptic. Eurooptics has some in stock but you're looking at like $2600 shipped for a G$ which no thanks.

I need to look at wayback machine to see how stock was days prior to coupons hitting. I'm hopping people just rushed and bought up everything good rather them being out of stock for a while.

You can check Euro Optic, as they have a sale going on now. I don't think it's 35% off good sale, but it's worth a look. I drove to their store yesterday and got a 10.3" super duty pistol for $1650. I think some others were closer to $2k though. The pricing varied a lot by model. They also have the Border Patrol model on sale. I was going to go there for that in 11.5", since it was $1,380, but decided on the super duty.
Euro Optics is the shit, best place to buy from. They have always done right by me. Best part, if you call them 8/10 they’ll work even more discounts for you. I’ve bought all my optics from them, and I’ve bought multiple firearms from them too. If you’re close enough to make a trip there, go check the place out. It is huge and the people are super friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. I got an NX8 NF LPVO last trip out, I was going to buy an open box/demo, they sold me a new in box one for the price of the demo. Before that, I bought two Bushnell Match pro ED’s they knocked off 175 off and like 25 off off the optics mounts. I made out like a bandit, got both scopes and the mounts for like 1500.
They keep raising the prices for 2-3 weeks now on 2 of the rifles I have my eye on, the one I want is still out of stock. I don't know how many they have in stock, but the one black 11.5" SD has gone up like 1700-1950 in $50 increments a few times a week.
If they get a restock I am hoping the prices will go back down to normal and I will purchase one, but unfortunately with the raised price + S&H/tax it works out to be way too overpriced.

I am not surprised, it’s the quickness they sell out. I have had my eye on the Super Duty stripped upper and the ambi lower. I want to upgrade my patrol rifle from a WC lower and upper. I have all Geissele internals and a CMT quad rail. Every time I go to buy them on restock… they sell out so quick. Or if I do find them, they’re way above what anyone should pay.

Just bought this for $1543 + tax.... Hard to beat that. I really wanted a 12.5" but hearing the likelihood of them not restocking and them most likely being banned in VA come July 1st....I pulled the trigger...
Plan on buying a 12.5" complete upper next year with their shot show coupon and be able to switch between 16" & 12.5" I bought a 10.5" LWRC MKII a few weeks ago, so that will hold me over until next year.

You will not be able to just put a short barreled upper on your lower. You bought a complete rifle so that lower will always be a rifle lower. If you put a barrel shorter than 16” on a rifle, you’re created a Short Barreled Rifle (SBR). That requires registration per the National Firearms Act (NFA). There’s debate as to whether the new VA laws will allow non-NFA items to be turned into NFA items after the laws go into effect because creating an SBR that wasn’t on the registry before is “making” a new firearm.

As far as I know they do, I believe they have done it the last few years. Ebay for the codes. Ranges from $3-5 for a code.

That’s awesome! I appreciate the response and I’m glad you were able to get yours in before the deadline. I decided to move to NC to get away from the craziness. Hopefully enough lawsuits come down that these new laws don’t stick.
