This can not be comfortable
Got home, it was logged in the corner. It saw me, freed itself and swam up to me. Then proceeded to stick itself right back in the corner

Your Axie must be friends with my Dojo.
Where is it? I can't find her...
Just casually upside down in the plant. I get heart attacks nearly daily from Derp because they sleep like they’re dead. 😆
Nap time
mine like fell asleep like this for a long while… not realizing his pellet was on the ground
Guess it wasn't this little guys turn with the braincell today
Husky energy
My boy Clubber likes to use his filters in the tank as back massagers, he crams himself under them (literally dug in the sand to do it). I think we might just have a couple of water cats.
Wow. So judgmental. Have you tried it? Evidence suggests that this must be comfy or all the cool kids wouldn’t be doing it. Just saying.
it?
is it weird to refer to animals as english? Im pretty fluent, and a lot of it comes from online usage at a young age, but I always learned in school it is the correct pronoun to use for anything other than humans
Usually you only use "it" to describe an animal if you don't know its gender. Once you know the gender, most people switch to him or her. Especially if it's your own pet, I've personally never seen someone refer to their pet as "it"
it could be because I'm indigenous, but i was always taught that anything with a soul shouldn't be called it as it implies something is simply an object.
Anything can be referred to as "it"
Can be isn't the same as should be. I can call anything a composition of atoms, but that doesn't mean I should go around referring to living beings like that.
I don't think its weird. Im not that fluent but I saw comments of ppl calling animals "it" before knowing the gender... i did too haha
I refer to animals as he/she... and babies it/that thing. Im broken 🤣
no, it’s weird to refer to the animals you share a personal relationship with as if they were things, especially when you know their gender.
also david attenborough always refers to the animals he talks about as he or she, so essentially god is saying this is the way.

"God"
Then there's Doc Pol who has his hand up a cow's rear, trying to pull a calf, and he will call the mama cow female and male pronouns in the same sentence. It's cool. As others here, he is also an ESL speaker and when doing things like pulling a calf out of a screaming mama cow – the cow doesn't really care. Doesn't seem to matter to pups when they're getting shots either. As long as you give them respect as living beings, pronouns are not that big a deal
Hmmm..... 🤔
Hahaha omgsh love this!! He’s gorgeous
Hahaha, love these little creatures, I often find Freak in some unusual positions... usually face first in the sand
This guy somehow got into my phone.. and turned into a drawing… idk how but they’re real silly creatures (I drew this)
Mine get its the monstera's roots😂
Sometimes they remind me of cats.
