Frankly I'm horrified that you could get that much damage from the bike blowing over + for that matter the bike being blown over, must have been strong wind. I've dropped my GSA on tarmac, by accident and done no real damage at all. Maybe a scrape, but its a GS its normally built like a brick shit house.
Must remind myself if I ever upgrade to buy it all around air bags if they're this fragile now.

If you’re taking it off road and/or a big trip soon, I’d tape it up and leave it! Chances are you’ll drop it, and if you’ve put a nice shiny new muffler you’ll wish you left the old one on😂

This fucking happened to my GS twice, but I had a cover over it which acted as a sail and because of that it rolled it on the left side (oposite of kick stand). Luckily I was parked next to a small concrete staircase so it basically just leaned on it. The storm was insane both times so don't underestimate the power of the wind, I saw with my own eyes how it can move such a heavy thing with ease...

The amount of power that you’re gonna get from a louder exhaust is negligible compared to the annoying sound you’re gonna make for yourself as you’re riding around. The thing already has tons of torque as it is 140 pretty formidable motorcycle to handle all that torque from the bottom on up. And let’s not forget that this is a touring bike too, so you’re gonna be listening to that noise as you’re on the highway and cruising in town just saying.

Happened to my moto guzzi v7. I parked on the side of a rural road to take a piss and a semi truck flew by at probably 60 mph creating such a gust of wind it knocked the bike right over (i was parked on an incline so that didn’t help). Anyway, get a new slip on! The GS deserves to purr! I have a yoshi on my GS
