Very stupid question
Can shedding very frequently be a sign of bad health?
His last shed was 1 1/2 months ago and he is in blue again.
Added tax of the angry zombie that greeted me cause I dared to try clean the poop from his enclosure (didn't know he was in blue since..you know, he just shed)

The body requires a properly functioning keratin and cellular metabolism for ecdysis. If this process is disrupted, the cycle becomes longer and the quality of the shed decreases.
Exception: severe skin problems. If the skin is heavily damaged (infections, parasites, significant dryness), the body may attempt to shed more quickly resulting in shorter intervals but poor over all quality.
For a juvenile, intervals of 3–8 weeks are completely normal. Shedding frequently is a sign of good health.

So his last shed has been in pristine condition. He is actually the best shedder ever.
He is a bit over 2 yrs old so still young. We got him April 2025 and he shed in August 25. Then again in around March, then in July and now again. Every time has been a perfectly clean shed but the change in frequency confuses me

Sounds very good! dont be confused.
Shedding in General has a Lot to do with growth(rate) and therefore feeding as well. Humidity and injuries are also important factors. For an adult 8-12 sheds per year are normal :)
