Lift your boxes in sets of 5
moves out in sets of 5x5
In this situation, I think it appropriate to test 1RM and cut your losses.
It may be a new exercise, gotta ensure form is good
I flexed my abdominals heartily for 5 sets of 5.
I read this with the comment above as two connected comments that rhymed in song. I am saddened it was not intentional. But I liked it.
Brethren I was terrified!
bellows with amusement
the cult of loki aka crossfit has taken another soul, tis sad they only want to be swole thyselves but have been lead astray...
Packs your bags heavily. So that ye may farmers walk them to your new village.
My heart giveth weighted palpitations for 5x5, thanks for the workout brother 10/10.
Am I the only worshipper before the Iron Altar who had a positive experience with Crossfit?

I first learned my prayers in The Box. Not all have strayed. Only a fool can deny that the ways of The Box are easily twisted to heresy and blasphemy, but none of its central tenets are fundamentally abhorrent to Brodin, providing that one holds him in one's heart during worship.
Yea, I say unto you that the practitioners of Crossfit's highest competitive rites return to the bosom of Brodin, seeking greater perfection and purity of the Upward Worship. For the judging of the rites is heavily biased unto the Lifts, and those who are found wanting in their Worship are simply not competitive.
Nevertheless, you are not wholly wrong; the heretics amid the congregation of The Box are legion. If a given temple to Crossfit has regularly sent a team of worshipers (a rotating team, not one or two individual penitents) to the national-level competitive rites on a regular basis for several years AND has a shrine to the Lifts of Olympus (an Oly Lifting club registered with USA Weightlifting), that temple is almost certainly safe for those who worship before the Iron Altar. But it must have BOTH.
If the temple lacks either, yea, it is a den of iniquity.
I know this sub generally hates crossfit. But what about people who do strictly Olympic weightlifting.
You have my couch! And my axe!
How did you let this happen?
Leaving now saves yourself, brother. However, staying against all odds, lifting you weights as Brodin teaches, and showing the difference in gainz to the heathen to lead them to the light of the Swolefather, therein lies the real glory.
Don't
She'll probably help you move in explosive and random movements.

Brethren, I fear that Brodin has sent this weighty joke hurtling past thy head at a high rate of speed.
Sounds like this form of cardiovascular activity I keep hearing, but would never touch.
Don't mention that word here !
I had to pray to brodin in sets of 5x5 after I read that blasphemy
"ZERO!" :(.
Crossfit is a cult for narcissists. Stay away, unless you crave attention and poor work out regimens.
True she hath strayed. This sin is nearly unforgivable, but not without hope. Help her become a true swolemaiden brother, Brodin will bless you with gains for doing so.
You should pack your bags for time.
Is she vegan?
Crossfit is a great substitute if your form is correct!
95lb snatches for a bizarre rep/set scheme of 21/15/9 reps "for time" will not be done with good form.
Is there a swole-shelter near you? Pack your iron and leave tonight, brother.

We need no shelter but the Iron Temple.

Sleep on the benches, with plates as your pillows

I tried that, I have grown too large to sleep on the benches... My lats hang off like wings, the slightest relaxation (such as when gains occur) will cause me to lose my balance.
But I will throw out my pillow, thank you for the suggestion.

I've never heard of a swole shelter, only cardio bunny hutches.
