Those definitely were the most people among the rich foreign students when I went to college. I never minded though...exotics and supercars are very rare in my area, so kinda cool to see one in person. One had a Rolls Royce Ghost...one lot had a Lamborghini and a Ferrari (I think Gallardo and forget the Ferrari model). Was kind of funny and out of place to see them in a shared apartment parking lot though. No garage or driveway, but 6 figure cars....I'd be paranoid.

Smaller, cheaper, more efficient, and the majority of taxi trips are 2 or fewer people. Plus they already have the model Y for when more than 2 seats are needed.
74orangebeetle
Yes it does. All rear wheel drive Model S had the large drive unit.

It's only news if it's a Tesla. Bonus points if self driving or a cybertruck are in loved, then it's clickbait global newsworthy.
74orangebeetle
The Cybertruck isn't over 3.5 tons though.

I don't like to reward false or misleading headlines with a click. If I did I'd be reading AI slop all day. I already know the position. Was already me ruined in the comments that the others did better in a JD power survey which wasn't what the title mentioned or implied. Misleading headline.
74orangebeetle
Out of principal I refuse to reward clickbait headlines with a click and a read, as it was created by a low quality source. Headlines should not be misleading and should give an accurate picture of the article.

Really? When I did a road trip last year I used exclusively Tesla chargers and averaged 31 cents/kwh (3400 miles) through 10 states. About 24 hr drive each way, so mix of on and off peak. I was actually sad because I'd wanted to stop at an Ionna, but it was 48 cents/not crazy, but massively higher than my average supercharger rates. Are most Ionna cheaper? They're few and far between where I am.
74orangebeetle
But they're claiming the others took the throne...nothing you copy and pasted supports that claim.
74orangebeetle
Lol, what in the clickbait junk is this? Ionna is cool, but few and far between. Mercedes and Rivian? Seriously? They have a tiny fraction of the number of chargers as Tesla....I have yet to actually see either in person, meanwhile I've driven over 3000 miles on a trip just with the supercharger network. Why is this sub up voting this? You can hate Tesla, but no need to make up lies.
74orangebeetle
Surprisingly, Tesla actually sells well in China and is one of thenfew American companies that can compete in the EV space over there.
74orangebeetle
They have access to it, they're just not allowed to use it. Obviously they'd be allowed to in an emergency.
74orangebeetle
For real. I love EVs, but also care about repairability. It's fun to see how easy or difficult it is to fix some of these. Fisker, Lucid, Rivian, polestar, etc. Really looking forward to the next Rivian Van video.

I did 3400 miles in my standard range model 3 and had 0 issues. Never was unable to charge, never had to wait to charge. The cool thing with Tesla is they'll tell you how many stalls are open in advance (and if any are out of order it'll tell you which one, and it's rare for that to happen) and will even account for other people routing to the same charger...so you could plan in advance if a station is busy. I have an adapter too so I can use CCS stations/charge anywhere else, but on my last long trip the Tesla ones were consistently cheaper (though that's not always the case everywhere)
74orangebeetle
Fantastic. Haven't bought gas in years. Gas was cheap when I got my car. Now it's not...but charging my car is cheaper than gas was. Road trips are no problem, and at home I'm still fine with a regular outlet/haven't even bothered upgrading any wiring or anything (though I'd like to go to 240v for the efficiency gains).
No oil changes to worry about either.
74orangebeetle
I do have a CCS adapter/more options and competition is always good. I haven't been to a Wal-Mart charger yet (I've passed by the electrify Americas at Walmarts, but haven't had the chance to see or use an actual Walmart charging station). I do love that they're expanding their network.
But what I do like with a lot of the Tesla chargers is some will have cheap off peak rates. Last time I went out of town to a concert, it might've been like 60 cents peak rate, but I held off until the way back and charged for 21 cents (obviously you can't always do that, but sometimes you can time your charging to take advantage)

I've never seen one that expensive anywhere I've been. I did a 3400 mile trip through 10 states and averaged 31 cents/kwh on superchargers. I used them exclusively because they were always the cheapest option (the Ionna stations on the route was 48 cents then)
74orangebeetle
Makes sense. Why would I want something far slower that costs far more to fuel while being less reliable? Trailseeker is 375 horsepower, blows away the gas in performance, practical, etc...Id have considered one if they offered something better than the original Solterra when I was EV shopping.

I literally had the mail man drop me off some mail reminding me to mail my ballot in, yet they left my ballot I was trying to send out in the mail box/didn't take it (for multiple days). I took it to a drop off box myself/luckily didn't have to go far out of my way and got a notification that my ballot has been received.

Almost got what? That's what I typed. No type there. You're missing the context and top comment. Yes someone who is a drug addict might not be a child abuser, but the comment chain was specifically about people reproducing who were drug addicts...your question was about drug addicts generally/didn't specify whether they have kids.
So in the context of the comment chain, I'll say yes, 100% of drug addicts who voluntarily reproduce while addicted to drugs are child abusers.
74orangebeetle
Not 100%, but there's a very high correlation...someone who's an addict is much more likely to be neglecting the child to some degree (are they really properly caring for their child when they can't care for themselves? Possible, but less likely) and if a mother is pregnant while doing drugs, She's already abusing them and doing damage before they're even born...in some cases, permanently so.
The 75D/dual motor isn't LDU. All rear wheel drive have large drive unit regardless of pack size. For all wheel drive it's just the older performance models (p85d, p90d p100d, etc). But if it's RWD, it came with the LDU By the time they changed and fixed it, they no longer made rwd model S.
