A problem property meeting where you can document the issue for the 911 calls and how you're trying to mitigate the issue (by evicting the problem tenant) isn't scary and isn't something you should be avoiding.

Call 911 and file the eviction.

Money orders can be returned as fraudulent, I've seen it happen with a resident who had been notified their payment was late on a Friday and then reported to USPS that it was fraudulently cashed the next eeek. It took approximately 3 weeks for the process to hit us being notified by the bank. We were super confused and thought it was a bank error before the resident reached out to us to turn in the replacement in person

If she was unable to carry children to term why would a c section be assumed to be the answer to the problem?

Dogs are definitely effected by eating weed, some more so than others. The most dangerous part is that for some of them, regulation of body temperature seems to be affected.

The army was so efficient that when I got married six weeks before my PCS (transfer to a new unit) and started the process of arranging for my spouse to move with me as well as change my name (as had been recommended to me, instead of waiting until I was on leave in between) that when we arrived at the new unit they had a place for two soldiers, Old Name and New Name, instead of soldier New Name and Spouse.

After explaining to the new unit's Personnel Office what had happened and what needed to happen, instead of arranging to authorize housing for New Name and Spouse they very helpfully started the paper work to transition me from New Name back to Old Name. Joke was on me though, the marriage didn't last and it was way harder to get back to Old Name without their assistance.

I totally thought this was a weird platypus bear mashup at first glance.

Anybody can purchase a mold test kit, follow instructions on site and mail it in for professional results. There's no reason a paid professional needs to be the one to open the lid and set it in place, then close the lid in two to three days and put it in a prepaid envelope.

Go to any hardware store and ask where the mold kits are, it should cost between $15 and $30 results and all. The bonus? You get the results directly instead of your shady landlord.

Iron and then fold to a width smaller than your ruler, or alternately, press a fold to to guide your cutting.

Do a rough cut as you have been expecting there to be a little extra along one or two sides, then press and trim to exact size along the pressed folds for your hem.

If it's a plain woven, check out fabric rilling and see if you're daring enough to give it a try.

The legal issues with locking people in a room are not insignificant. What happens when someone dials 911 and reports to the police that they've been locked in a room against their will due to a device malfunction or due to your companies malfeasance?

What do the fines look like if the fire martial catches wind of this?

Had a good NCO in our unit refuse a "hang out" with a major who got his knickers all twisted about the rejection. Suddenly, there were anonymous pictures submitted to the command of her sitting on a woman's lap and one where their heads were turned together (it was potentially a kiss although the version I saw I couldn't say for sure.)

It took about 6 months but she was chaptered out. That was honestly what cemented my decision not to reenlist. It didn't matter how good you were, if you offended the right asshole suddenly you're a shitbag and they're going to make your life miserable until you leave.

The last time I needed a new kettle I decided on a gooseneck and a surprising number of the mid-price models offer the ability to select specific temperatures rather than just turns itself off after reaching a boil.

I've had good results with other gel top coats over stamps, is it possible to use a no wipe topcoat you know won't smudge it and then the matte topcoat over that?

Always always always redirect people to contact emergency services themselves if they feel their presence is needed. You cannot answer law enforcement or CPS questions about something you didn't witness. My standard line is that if they have concerns they should contact (non-emergency number) and if they feel anyone is in immediate danger they should not hesitate to call 911.

So when you master batch lye at 50% lye and 50% water by weight you still run your recipe through a soap calculator. Then you measure take the lye weight from the calculator and multiply by 2 to account for the added water. If your recipe calls for 600 grams of water and you're using 200 grams of lye (so 400 grams of your masterbatched solution which is 200 grams lye and 200 grams water) you can choose whether you'd like to add another 400 grams of water to use full water or use less additional water depending on your design and desired results.

The important step is taking the amount of lye a Lye Calculator calls for and using twice as much of your masterbatched solution which you measure in weight before diluting.

I mean your new roommate.

I would not allow someone to move in without a lease, especially if they told me they had no intentions of paying without lease.

Alternative take: I feel angry, sad, like my work and time is unappreciated, possibly disrespected, resentful or unvalued. I express these feelings, things get heated on both sides. Note that all of this is outside the scope of BDSM play. Afterwards we apologize to each other and decide working on ways for each partner to feel connected again after the argument by doing things for each other is the way to go. I say I'd like food, my partner decides a BDSM punishment is in order. Being relatively new and not understanding the imbalance this creates I agree, not knowing it would impair the foundation of mutual trust greatly.

Then my partner punishes me harder than they ever have, punishes me for expressing that their choice made me feel sad, angry and like my work and contributions to the relationship aren't valued.

It is extremely understandable that this would make someone feel unsafe in the relationship and/or dynamic, and to be honest I think putting everything in pause in a safe space away from the top is not only reasonable, but the right move. OP didn't "use the safe word" but they did express that this wasn't working for them and the top was with it enough to stop everything, so points in their favor for that. Even if they are in a 24/7 TPE I think the way the top handled this was boneheaded and would still have hurt the trust OP has in the dynamic. Quite frankly its a rookie move to punish someone for their feelings, especially feelings of hurt and not being valued in any way that isn't a scene specifically designed to reinforce how the top values, loves and cherishes the bottom. Even then, it better be damn well thought out and probably some stretch of time away, not later that same day.

I appreciate that, however the amount of insulin he takes is completely normal for T1D, the doctor was just unfamiliar and chose the worst possible intervention.

Not soap does not mean essentially lotion. Laundry detergent is also not soap, but it contains surfactants which is how it cleans things.

I wish I could say I had no experience of anything like this but a couple of years ago my partner who has T1D switched to a new provider who said she'd never heard of anyone taking the amount of insulin he was and her recommendation in writing was that he just stop using insulin for awhile "to see what happens."

I work in veterinary medicine and have literally seen dogs half his weight on similar insulin regimens but the confidence she had in advising him to just casually induce ketoacidosis for funsies because she wasn't educated about insulin dependent diabetes completely blew my mind.

The device I make the return on isn't the kindle. I also can't access Libby directly from the kindle (maybe you can on a fire, but that's not what I have). I have to ask Libby to send the book to my kindle, take my kindle out of airplane mode to download new books, put it back in airplane mode to keep from having old downloads deleted and then go back to my other device. My Libby app will also show the book as either checked out by someone else or as available for me to check out again.

Your kindle downloads new things before it updates the rest of your library, so if you're careful you can do this consistently.

I leave my kindle in airplane mode except to download new books (it begins downloading before it updates and removes expired or returned books,) so yes. Your device does update normally once it is allowed to stay connected to the Internet, but your Libby library will absolutely let you return a book that you still have on the Kindle that it's not able to talk to.

I used to be scheduled till 1am and would sometimes be the designated driver for friends on weekends after my shift. The number of times a very drunk man insisted on buying me a drink after I explained this then got angry that I was waisting his time when I a) didn't drink it and b) had a group of intoxicated men I knew and was friends gather up for the ride home was not negligable. Due to the aforesaid group of young men they usually weren't too bad but on several occasions I had some idiot try to corner me the next weekend to tell me just how awful of a person I was for leading them on by existing as a woman in a bar near closing time.
