I just retired at 55, it's unbelievable the flack I get. It's mostly jealousy and the lack of understanding what a public pension is. I finally am just over it and ignore them.

Just a FYI, I am on month 2 and still get that constantly. I'm so tired of having to justify my retirement to people. I was a public servant for 32 years and got my position right after college and am now 55. No one prevented them from applying for my job or any other government position. FSD and auto parking will be gone when your subscription expires. Autopilot will remain, which is lane centering with auto steer. I wish I could just subscribe or buy the parking portion of FSD. A major update for FSD and HW3 is supposed to be out this month according to past reports from Elon. If it really improves things it may be worth the subscription but for now I don't think it's worth it.

I will be retiring in 8 months at 55 after 32 years at the same place. Been thinking a lot about it and I do have the same concerns. All my friends are a good 5-10 years away from retiring. I am making a list of things I want to accomplish or do. I'm hoping I can stick with it and stay motivated. It's weighing on me though.

We have a daughter who has struggled with anorexia for the last 7 years. TBH we stopped watching because the show is too triggering for us. I really hope she is getting help if that is the situation with her.

It's not necessarily broadcasting your political opinion, it's keeping your car from being vandalized, that's the primary reason.

Just remember if you buy it from Tesla you get an extra 10,000 mile warranty after the basic warranty expires and usually they add acceleration boost to the car which is normally a $2000 purchase. Just something to consider when you're looking at used Teslas.
