I just retired at 55, it's unbelievable the flack I get. It's mostly jealousy and the lack of understanding what a public pension is. I finally am just over it and ignore them.

Just a FYI, I am on month 2 and still get that constantly. I'm so tired of having to justify my retirement to people. I was a public servant for 32 years and got my position right after college and am now 55. No one prevented them from applying for my job or any other government position. Like you, I also just say " I do whatever I want," but it's extremely frustrating.

70,000+ people work for Tesla in the US, plus the head designer and lead engineer Franz and Lars are good guys. There are good people behind Tesla, it's unfortunate Elon has ruined it with politics but don't let that interfere with something you like. I bought the car because I like the car, it combines my love for automobiles and computer/technology- no politics were even involved in my decision.
