Overleveled is frustrating too. 900,000 compared to everyone else's 70,000 isn't fun. All the excitement and danger is gone when you have a god on your team

DRW0813

And full strawmanning in bad faith isn't?

DRW0813

Why do ya'll immediately strawman?

Let's look at my answer. I'll put it in caps so you can read it.

> I DONT THINK WE SHOULD STOP YOUNG PEOPLE FROM MAKING MISTAKES

And even before that I agreed that young adults have to make hard decisions.

You took that answer and got "so a woman shouldn't be able to get a mortgage"????

Like seriously, bad faith trolling.

DRW0813

We need to keep complaining. I'm betting they have at least a web scraper out there for community input

[[felix five boots]]

it telegraphs so much and is so slow in the best way. Turn 5 I play [[Westgate Regent]], turn 6 I play felix and attack making westgate a 12/12 flyer. turn 7 I attack with him again and get a 36/36 flyer. Turn 8 I have a lethal flying guy that dies to removal.

I power down my decks all the time. Optimization is often the enemy of fun.

DRW0813

Is it fun to be dead 90% of a game?

DRW0813

Achievement hunting at the expense of others.

Playing the game normally doesn't stop the achievement hunters from achieving.

Achieving hunters optimizing the fun out of the game for everyone else does stop normal players from having fun.

DRW0813

> there no point doing it on the harder difficulty

The point of the game is to have fun. Ruining other people's enjoyment of the game to knock out an achievement that's supposed to take a long time within weeks of the game release is being a dick

DRW0813

> steadier position in terms of career, finances, balanced personality

Exactly. There is a power imbalance. I dont think all of those relationships are always wrong. But it's something everyone needs to be aware of and is much more likely to turn into an abusing relationship. For every successful age gap relationship there are a ton more abusive ones.

Even in small everyday decisions the power imbalance is going to come up. Both partners need to be aware of it.

It's like gambling. Are there some successes? Sure. On average is everyone who participates worse off, yup. Does it put someone in dangers path even if no one gets hurt? Yup.

DRW0813

> agree 21

Personally, I put it at 25. The age you need to be to rent a car and the age that the brain is mostly developed. When a 25 year old dates a 40 year old it's much different than a 20 year old dating a 35 year old.

> should just be sheltered in their home with their parents for 30 years of life

Nope. That's a strawman. recognizing that there is a power imbalance between a 23 year old recent graduate who is impressionable and a 38 year old is different than saying that anyone under 30 should never go outside.

> bigger decisions in their life than who to date

Yup. Society has issues and there is no one size fits all. Student loans, 22 year old NFL players risking serious injury for millions of dollars, signing up for the military.

I don't think we should stop young people from making big decisions and making mistakes because that's how people grow up.

DRW0813

> they are too mentally dim to make their own choices as legal adults from 18 to 30

Is a strawman of

> partner who he can manipulate

from the post above since easy to manipulate doesnt mean dumb

A 20 year old is an adult and can make their own decisions, as long as that decision isn't to have alcohol because society has recognized that 20 is "adult-ish".

Someone with less life experience, less money, less connection, is going to be easier to manipulate than someone who is in a stable place in life.

DRW0813

Is Obama's actions the cause of that or an effect of him being black?

Option 1) Obama's actions seriously hurt race relations

Option 2) racists got mad at a black president for being black and become more outspoken in their racism, causing worsening race relations

DRW0813

> it's not to automatically imply rule 0's

Except for mass land destruction and early 2 card infinites

DRW0813

A disagree button or retreat. When it's just my squad vs two scoria with 3mins left. No one retreats to just continue the mission so it's 3mins of barely chipping away for no reward

DRW0813

Rankings

- oops all medics: s tier, no one is staying down
- oops all assault: A tier, they are staying stunned for a while
- oops all shotgun guys: D tier. At least people are healing themselves
- oops all marksmen: f tier. 2 UAVs have the same effect as 1 UAV so 4 UAV's is pointless

DRW0813

Cars are inherently a display of money.

Let's continue and compare sex to money.

Is someone who flies first class "show off their money like a hussy for attention" or doing it cause it objectively feels nice to fly in a seat that can fold into a bed.

> what's next you put on a porno

Do you want a discussion or do you just want to insult women?

DRW0813

Trying to think of a metaphor and this is what I came up with.

Think of dressing in an attractive manner like owning a car.

Some guys get the loudest car possible because they want people to notice them. Some guys buy fancy cars because they want to show off to everyone.

But some guys who drive fancy cars do it for themselves. It feels nice sitting behind the wheel of a porsche or a Genesis. When I'm driving one I'm not thinking "I hope others see it as fancy". I am enjoying the fanciness all to myself.

In fact I'd be kind of taken aback if someone started fawning over my car. Or accusing me of driving it for attention.

DRW0813

What's wrong with looking healthy? Healthy is healthy right?

But healthy actually means fat

DRW0813

If the ripper had more ammo it would be OP. But the humble breechshot is near unusable

DRW0813

> okay and

It's morally wrong

DRW0813

It's calling her fat.

Well it's meant to make her think she could be getting fat and make her second guess herself. while lowering her self esteem to make her easier to control.

DRW0813

> are you saying these are "gateway" actions

Yes. Behaviors which establish "we are NOT equal partners" do not lead to equal relationships. All abusive relationships are not equal.

Usually this is when "but some people want unequal relationships" comes in. At which point I'd say the Barbie movie does a good job at showing the trappings of patriarchy through a feminist lens

DRW0813

"Hey babe, do you need those fries? You are looking quite um, healthy"
