No, this doesnt make sense. OP is saying that their bf created an application / 3d model on his work computer and that the bf is only showing the VP demos and the capabilities but doesnt want to give them full access. They also said the company wants to get the bf "they own server".

None of that makes sense. If you build something on your work computer, during work hours, using resources from your employer, and you build a tool that directly applies to your job or the company itself, then what is there to protect?

The best way to protect your work from the company you work for is to work on it on your personal computer, on your personal time, with your own tools/resources.

I think the point she was trying to make was that nobody would read her sign and lay next to her. But then someone did and she freaked out. There's no connection if you don't speak to someone. Imagine if they would have had a deep conversation about where they're from, why he's visiting, why she's doing this, etc. The dude was ready to talk and I think he was expecting something deep to come out of it.

This is the first year that I didnt upgrade my iPhone and I'm also not really planning to purchase any new device. I almost jumped on the HomeView but at this point, in this economy, and with all the price hikes on everything, I'm gonna sit this out for a while. Can I comfortably afford to splurge? Yes, but that's feeding the system that keeps raising prices on everything from groceries to housing to healthcare and other essentials. These are not essentials. Not spending money is the only way to send a message.

yup that's how it was for me, was born in Mexico and had to use a dictionary to translate the game since my copy was in English.

By that logic Apple wouldnt allow watching pirated movies on their Macs. I can't imagine it has anything to do with that. It's not like Apple is responsible for what you watch on your Apple TV.

Because they just added this functionality like 1-2 weeks ago and it takes some effort to create the design so most devs will wait until the next time they have an update to publish. 

I use the browser and I even created my own Safari extension (https://getprotego.app) to make it more enjoyable. Using the browser is much more flexible in terms of what you can do with the Reddit site itself, you can filter things, you can hide bloat/distractions, you can even change annoying functionality added by Reddit.

I agree that being able to block parts of Reddit is the best solution. I'd get annoyed when I was researching some problem on google and the top results were from Reddit posts, which meant that I had to unblock Reddit just to see the post. Then I'd forget to block it again or I'd get sidetracked and would end up on the home feed.

I now set up Reddit to block everything except for individual post pages when my Apple devices go into Work Focus mode.

As for the post/comment save feature request, as I said previously that'll take quite a bit of planning and testing on my part and only work on Protego on the evenings and weekends, so it'll probably be a couple of weeks. I don't want to quote a date or anything since I can't guarantee an exact date. I'm pretty excited about that feature too though, and I've discussed it with a few other friends and even a journalist that's writing an article on Protego. I use AI to help me develop this app but I dont like 'vibe coding' by letting it take full control of writing code. I go through a lot of planning on my part, testing, and code review so it takes a little while.

I'm the dev of Protego for Reddit (https://getprotego.app) and have support for downloading a post's image and video. Currently I only support downloading a single video or the first image in a multi image post.

I have a ticket on my list to add support for downloading all images in a multi image post, which I planned to start on in a few weeks.

I hadn't considered adding an option to download as a zip file, but seeing your question, it seems like an easy thing to implement for power users.

When you say "all images from a Reddit post" are you only referring to the images in a post's gallery or also images in the body of the post?

My extension is only for Safari, so even if you dont use Safari and don't plan to use my extension, I'd still like to add this feature since it seems like a no-brainer.
