100% legal advice but you can always submit to them a subject access request. This is a legal document that means they have to provide you with all the information they have on you within 30 days. Although sometimes this can be heavily redacted it may give you an idea of what information they are working from. There are templates online and the most they can charge you is £10. Frank Innes (west bridgford) (imo horrible renting company) did this to me but to the sum of £200ish. Similar situation, house was filthy when we moved in. Lots of problems that took months, one issue took a year to sort out. They told us we could paint and then at the end of the tenancy tried billing us for painting without permission. They also tried billing us for missing items that weren’t there to begin with and the window key that was there but not in the lock. I contested it all and went through the process I had to send them a subject access request to prove the painting permission and other things and in the end still had to pay them £120. 100% it was still worth fighting. Too many people just pay up. It’s become the norm for estate agents to do this.

I didn’t know what to do but then remembered I have a roll of bags in the car 100m away. Just as I started walking towards my car a guy pulls up next to me and starts screaming at me about it. I tried to explain that I’m coming back but he was having none of it. I ended up getting into a bit of a shouting match with this guy and he drove off… he didn’t even get the chance to see me walk back and pick it up!! I now carry a minimum of 4 bags!!

Most Amazon delivery vans in the uk are run by 3rd parties. These companies can have up to 30-40 vans on their fleet. Their insurance for the vans is incredibly high due to the amount of accidents that happen and the age of the drivers. Normally if you do as the others have said, contact police and your insurance, they will check your evidence and the van back at the depot and the insurance will sort out everything.
