Yeah you called it. The conversation continued from there but it just got worse. I showed the whole conversation to my therapist today and she said that the woman that I was talking to was over personalizing things and had her own issues she needed to work out.

Good call, Walmart has one for $32 that looks cheap but certainly good enough for my purposes and I could just put some BDSM tape around the front pillar. There's a stiff pillar that goes between the chest and the chin. So it would be safe to strap down without impacting the airway.
