Even if that was the case, let's look at the outcome. Let's say you're right and most women have a shitty view of men. They talk a bit of shit, maybe are legitimately mean sometimes, maybe opt out of dating, but all men everywhere go about their lives unimpeded; working, studying, mostly totally unmolested. In this scenario, the converse is men have a better view of women, but rape, murder, and loss of rights still run rampant. Women's hatred, even if true, doesn't significantly affect men. Men's supposed love of women still results in them brutalized.

So you're doxing your clients. Fun! I hope someone you work with notices this.
PsychologicalFox8839
Yeah, this is very disrespectful of your time. Remember, you don't owe them anything and they haven't actually offered you anything but waiting around. You can tell them no at any time and frankly, doing so might convey a message to them about this sort of wishy washy "casting" practice.
PsychologicalFox8839
No you didn't.
PsychologicalFox8839
Whoa, you don't even to go them?! You must be SOOOOO healthy!

Take a look at how Trump has scammed everyone he's ever been involved with and how he hasn't followed through with every other government program he's rolled out.

You don't have to like it.
PsychologicalFox8839
It is grammatically incorrect except in an incredibly few scenarios. Shouldn't be done.

It's unusual and I think it's unfair of the theater even if the intent might be good. There's a reason this scenario isn't common. If you want to audition for other things, you're in a limbo of not knowing if you're actually in this show or not. This also allows the theater to keep a waiting pool of people they actually rejected on the line to call in at a moment's notice if someone drops out so that they can still do their show with no inconvenience to them and without the fuss of actually casting and preparing understudies. It's a win/win for them but likely to have only disadvantages for you. I agree that you should let them know if a role doesn't open by XYZ date, you'll be moving on or just flat out thank them and tell them to break a leg and you'll see them next time.
PsychologicalFox8839
Wait you think men actually put down their jackets on the ground for women?

Your job as a parent is to produce a fully fledged adult human and productive member of society. Of course your kid might need you every now and then, but the literal goal of parenthood is your child's independence.

We can't tell you what your rehearsal schedule would be like. There have been thousands of productions of this play and it's not like they all rehearse Monday-Thursday 6:00-8:30 or something. If you're worried about the commitment, ask the director.
Good wagering and buzzing in quickly when they know a questions? That's a good contestant.
