There are plenty of data centers across this country with tons of electricity, and room.  They exist in millions of small.to mid-sized businesses, and we would love to run our own open weight models on moderately priced iron.

I have enough room for 3 racks right now.  Once stuff starts flooding the market I'll install a rack or two and drop off the grid for api spend.

Well, I have a pretty good solar setup, about 2000w total, a generator, propane tanks, and a half cord of pecan firewood so that's not a bad example for me.  

I kind of assume that he would have some sort of energy source to heat food in an emergency.  

The biggest problem would be if water were cut.  I keep a 30 gallon tank in my camper fresh, but 30 gallons goes faster than people think it would.
