Awww, I’m sorry you are so distressed about this! It honestly isn’t that hard (the sour cream layer) but definitely go with the canned fruit pie filling! Very common, super easy, super delicious!

You can add a sour cream layer over it maybe. Google sour cream topping for cheesecake.

You might even be able to peel most of the burned part off and then top with the sour cream layer because I think you usually bake it again for a few minutes (been a while since I’ve done one with the sour cream layer).

Or, canned berry pie filling of your choice (strawberry, cherry or blueberry are most common).

I would try to take some of the burned part off no matter what you try. I bet most of it will come off and then you can top it however you want!

It looks delicious and try not to be too hard on yourself about it-it will be delicious!!

Ohhh, I’m sorry. It’s a terrible disease and I’m sorry you’ve dealt with it so frequently in your life. My friend is getting the infusion treatment and I’m so glad about that. But it’s only a stopgap measure. Very sad!

It’s tough, and so unfair. She was the collective memory for our group too-she remembered everything that happened in school! I do visit her when I go back home to visit, which is wonderful!

Ohhh, that’s crazy!! I will have to double check. I do have a pile of TY’s to catch up on but I thought I had looked over all of it already. Maybe they are in there? Hmmm, now I have a task tonight, lol.

I have a group of elementary/jr high girlfriends too and we were pretty good about doing occasional trips until Covid ☹️. Now, one has dementia (early onset) and IDK if we’ll keep up any of the trips 😢
