Mufu didn't realize anything, as he points out the only reason that he lost was because he turned out to be weaker than Rover and Qingxiao. He still believed that his Way was correct despite the many, many obvious flaws inherent in the situation, because he was such a massive ass and his ego literally could not fit in the same Sonoro Sphere with his body.

Phrolova at least admitted that she had failed over and over again, and while she wasn't willing to give up, the amount of time she had spent with no progress at least made her cognizant of the possibility that her goal was impossible.

Mufu was an egotistical ass who believed that if everyone else would just do what he said, tried harder, sacrificed their lives and humanity, given him what he wanted then he would have received the glory he felt he was owed. Phrolova's goals were always about other people - Muyu has always been utterly self centered.

The problem is that your entire point is predicated on the fact that you are claiming that you understand the storytelling better than anyone else. The problem is is that you have already demonstrated your bias, which shows that you have a agenda and in fact are not trying to advance a proper understanding of the story.

The question you want to ask which is probably the biggest difference between how the novel treats Bjorn and how the manhwa treats him is 'Do you think Bjorn is a good person?' Because in the novel he is very utilitarian in how he treats people around him, although he prioritizes helping the people close to him. It's all about what's best for him, so in that sense Bjorn treats everyone as either a threat or something useful to him. And he has a tendency to outright murder those who show hostility towards him who aren't really threats, because its the easiest path forward. And he is *very* cavalier about working with whomever he needs to in the immediate moment to gain as much of an advantage as possible.

Does he have a good bit of camaraderie with his party? Of course, these are the people he spends the most time with and has come to depend on. Does he also view them as investments in keeping himself alive and helping him to clear the game? For a very long time, this is also true. But when it comes to getting Amelia on his side later on, he refers to the entire process as keeping his SSR grade gacha recruitment ticket safe, for instance. I honestly cheered when he got to the point where 'lets maybe not casually kill someone who wasn't even responsible for making the bad decision in the opposing party' became a consideration for Bjorn.

Bjorn is honestly kind of a piece of shit and a hypocrite to people he deals with, he's just much less bad to his immediate party. He does open up to them over time - as he's said in the manhwa, he'd have to be really dense to not realize how Misha feels about him at this point- and he wants to keep the people important to him alive. But at the end of the day, it takes a long time for him view anyone as something other than investments.

Nah, the answer for why she didn't win was twofold - she is a person of color, and she is a woman. People can say what they want about her policies, but when push comes to shove there is a lot of latent sexism and racism in the country that is currently impossible to overcome.

Especially the sexism part. As was famously put - the US people would rather give the presidency to a black man before they would a white woman. And they would rather give it to an absolute moron instead of a woman, as they have shown twice now. It doesn't even need to be a high conscious thing, but the language and amount of scrutiny between the two candidates in both cases so far makes the difference in standards starkly clear.

The source is, as always, either 'I made it the hell up' or 'I'm shilling for Epic'. It's objectively wrong, publishing on Epic has been repeatedly shown to provide less money than Steam.

Was floating on 750 gold tickets. Got an off banner on the first 10 pulls, nothing on the next 30. Out of resources, so tickets it is. Bring on the next Pilgrim or Overspec, I'll mileage them and the next two as well!

Love this game for letting us save up to avoid the BS of low rate banners.

Remember, Steam does absolutely nothing but rake in the profits! /s

Just the sheer lack of any sort of experience in any sort of enterprise environment makes statements like that utterly laughable. Someone further up talking about how you can just put your game on Google Drive, why should you bother with Steam when you can do it for FREEEEEEE?

Utterly ignores that the moment you start pulling downloads from any decent number of users that Google, AWS, or Azure is going to shut you the hell down because you blew past your 'free' allocation after like 20 users. Actual enterprise storage, which you're going to need if you ACTUALLY want to self distro your game? Even the smallest packages are going to run you into the six figure range.

Steam will publish your asset flip for $200 and a 30% cut. Literally world opening for indie devs.

The vShojo hate brigade is out in force again, trying to paint the victims as the abusers.

Remember folks, a good chunk of these people are astroturfed by a few people who wanted to see Kson run out of content creation all together for her actions in her past life.

And then look at the massive drama that cropped up with the Girly Pops group when Sinder's situation was exposed. The problem is that a lot of people assume that the vTuber space is going to be at least semi-cooperative, and when someone doesn't act in that manner... well, things get bad and feelings are hurt. That is, however, preferable to massive financial damage when someone has screwed up and isn't willing to admit things are going bad.

RuneGrey

This is just wishful thinking. People are acting like the law is settled with vibes and not with... The law. You can absolutely get sued for violating an NDA even if the company is defunct, and you can be sued for the cost of the lawsuit as well. You have to defend yourself, which is already expensive. And quite frankly, most VC creditors don't give a damn what online folks are saying - you'll probably never learn who is actually running most of these companies.

And if you have said something online that breaks your NDA then it is almost impossible to defend yourself with evidence being recorded. And despite what people are saying, nothing has been shown to be criminal yet, and running your business badly and not being able to pay your employees (which the talents are unfortunately NOT) is not a criminal offense, just a civil one.

The charity money was almost certainly wire fraud, but that's about it for actual crimestht have been mentioned so far. And that's what the talents have been talking about. But people are really pushing to get folks to say more, and the only people who have made wider allegations are Vei, Nyan, and Silver. And they and others are low-key implying that because the current talents aren't talking about it that they either ignored harassment or are complicit. But a lot of internal company stuff is and will continue to be covered by NDAs.

Trust in Geega's advice - if one of the current talents isn't saying something then their source is that it came to them in a dream.

RuneGrey

The more important point I think is people just ... assuming the NDAs are void or unenforceable now. Then pointing at what Vei and the others who left are saying, and are claiming that if the current talents aren't speaking out about it that they must be covering it up or were complicit in it.

There's some very dedicated vShojo haters who are still after the talent and are looking to use this incident to blacken the talents reputations as well. Most of the bad comments are getting deleted, but the perception of NDAs being dead letter is letting people harass the talents for more info or make absolutely insane suppositions.

RuneGrey

This is actually untrue. We've heard a lot of good stuff from the talents about their managers in the past. Matara, Geega, and others have had glowing compliments about the amount of help they were getting.

What we've heard so far about the company has been more about bad mismanagement than harassment or anything like that. It's a very different story than is being painted by the girls who left earlier.

RuneGrey

Like Ed, she recovered her memories due to becoming resistant to divine magic.

Unlike Ed she tanked the dragon THE ENTIRE TIME.

Girl needs a break, even if she isn't going crazy anymore and becoming a boss. (As Ed realized, her going boss mode was entirely due to the time loop.)

RuneGrey

Got some people complaining though, but I can live with their disappointment.

I mean it's hardly going to ruin the story if they avoid a lady's death just for the sake of giving the main character more emotional development. There's other ways to handle it.

RuneGrey

Don't feed the trolls, my friend.
