I've worked in TV for a long time, and this rate isn't absurdly low by any means for an assistant editor. It's on the mid to lower side. If someone is incredible we'll definitely be willing to increase.

Ah, gotcha! Thanks!

I’d have to run it back again to see what my issue was, but it just seemed like it didn’t translate the edges very well if that makes sense?
SpasticCactus
Did KartaVR work for you? Didn’t work all that well for me with converted insta360 vids
SpasticCactus
Work with insta360 footage?? 🙂
SpasticCactus
Ah crap. OK, I guess we expect it to take 5 days @ $500 a day but we haven't done this before. Does that sound about right on rate and time? (And sorry...was trying to follow the rules)

Understanding something dramatically lessens a persons fear of it, from storms to sharks to people.

Hah thanks, I've actually done the DRFX to zip thing myself as well, and I went the extra step of giving all the effects inside a prefix so I can search the prefix. It's just a lot of work to maintain over time.
I'd just love a plugin where I can check and uncheck effects!!

Thanks for taking the time to write this out…very much appreciated! Ok yep I was thinking about the cloud pod but we have so much gear in there already that I’m not sure we can introduce this approach this current tornado season. I was hoping there was some magic single product I didn’t know about yet!
But maybe we’ll have time in the offseason to explore, experiment, and figure how to hang out with the wizards at BM!
Thanks again

You're insane, and this is extremely rad. Well done.
I appreciate this. Much more helpful than the other comment. Do you think there are people out there who are on this level with Premiere, though?
