Investment Banking specifically at the Analyst and Associate level should never require a H1B candidate. There are a plethora of US citizens and green card holder Finance & Business majors who are more than qualified. IB firms like UBS exploit H1B to keep them tied down in roles that Americans would otherwise try to lateral out of.

CYC, Bear studios, Arch Consulting: Pretty difficult, 2 rounds of interviews. You really need good connections through the bfrats/social frats
Bfrats in general: Pretty difficult, usually 100-150 people rush and they take like 10 a semester
WUSIF is a great club to learn about investing in public companies and creating pitch decks
WUIB: I think if you have a solid interest in investment banking you'll get in

Yes

where did you get this 150 figure?
ThatOneGuy-C6
what do you mean escalation? like interest?
You are entirely missing the point. No one is claiming that H1B is for unique talent. (Most) Consulting and Investment Banking is not a specialized talent nor a job that requires a high degree of specialized training, and there is no reason companies should fill internationals with these roles, other than to exploit them which they have been doing.
